transcribed by Jeffrey Elmer Arthur Hale was born on September 11, 1860 in Missouri to Jane [Wallace] and William Hale. His parents brought him to Klickitat County in 1877 and the family settled in the Spring Creek area. Arthur married Nettie Jane [Palmer] on April 30, 1891 in Klickitat County; however, Nettie died in 1895. Arthur then married Rebecca Jane "Jennie" Walters on February 27, 1898 in Klickitat County. He was a stage coach driver in the local area for many years. Arthur passed away on April 9, 1925 at home in Roosevelt at the age of 64. He is buried in Plot: Block Section 71, Lot 1. died in March 1917, she married Paul Hause on September 16, 1918. Tragically, only about three weeks following her marriage to Paul, her son
William was killed in a kitchen stove explosion.
Paul tried to save young William, but was significantly burned in the process. Daisy passed away on March 19, 1938 at 51 years of age. She is buried in Plot: Block Section 110 Lot 5.
