TRIES TO ESCAPE

Della Hall, held by Police Matron Margaret DeHan on a charge of disorderly conduct, made a desperate effort to escape yesterday by leaping from the second story of Mrs. DeHan's residence, and had it not been for the fact that Humane Officer Kent was passing at the time and recaptured her, she in all probability would have gotten away.

Although the jump was a high one, and she rolled down a bank after alighting, she was uninjured save for a few scratches and skin bruises.
