THOUGHT HE SAW A BURGLAR
While C. D. Douglas, who lives at the Buena Vista Apartments, at Belmont av. and Olive st., was walking toward his home last night, about 11:30 o'clock, he saw a man, he thinks was a burglar, enter the home of John Kanen, at 1630 Belmont av.
Douglas rushed to a telephone and reported the matter to the police, saying that he would try to keep the burglar in the house. Patrolman J. E. Smith hotfooted to the Kanen home, but the suspicious character had made his escape.
