NELLIE RAN AWAY
Little Nellie, the 10-year-old daughter of F. P. Andrews, of the Seattle water department, ran away from home, at 300 Sixth avenue, some time last evening and apparently got lost. She wandered up and down several streets and finally becoming tired she sat down on the steps of the United States assay office, on Ninth avenue, and cried herself to sleep.
There she was found at 2 o'clock this morning by the night watchman, to whom she could not explain where she had been. He took her into the office and asked her who she was and where she lived, and the police were informed.
Police Sergeant Stuart took Nellie home. She has gone away from home once or twice before in a similar way.
