Then in October 1941, The Mount Adams Sun cited that Mrs. Al Redican traveled to Globe, Oregon for the "death of her father, Mr. Short." (Jeffrey D. Although the death certificate says Charles birthdate was the 1st of March, I believe that is an error. Charles' Draft Registration cites March 30, 1884. I believe that his father's name was Thomas Redican. In the 1900 census, Charles and his brother Aloysius were living with Thomas and Catherine Redican in Empire, Dakota, Minnesota.]

Sometime later, Bradford was married to Melinda Mae Reiff (WA State Archives - death record). Bradford died at the age of 64 on March 16, 1944 in Goldendale, Klickitat, WA.   [Researcher note that there is a discrepancy in Bradford's birth date. His gravestone is etched with 1884; however, WA death records list Bradford as 64 years of age, which would make his birth year approximately 1880, as do several of the US Federal censuses. Bradford's WWII Registration cites his birthdate as October 20, 1879.]
