UNATTENDED FOR EIGHTEEN HOURS
Helpless from a stroke of apoplexy, Mrs. Julia Sholes, who lives four miles from South Park, lay unattended for 18 hours in her own doorway, and died yesterday morning without regaining consciousness. A sister, who had been called away the day previous to nurse a sick neighbor, returned at 10 o'clock yesterday morning and found the woman on the front steps. It is supposed that she was taken ill about 4 o'clock the previous afternoon. Mrs. Sholes was 58 years of age.
