March 27, 1905
James W. Young, a Seattleite since the days of the fire in 1889, died Saturday afternoon [March 25, 1905], only three days after the death of his wife, at Dawson. The news was received Sunday by Dr. G. M. Horton, who is making arrangements for the shipment of the body. Mrs. Young has always been an invalid and went north some time ago in search of better health. She died on Thrusday morning, and immediately her husband was taken sick. He became rapidly worse and died on Saturday afternoon.
