Dr. Hinsdale, Dentist, Dies
Dr. Henry Vaughan Hinsdale, a Seattle dentist for the past 27 years, died Sunday. Funeral services will be held at 1 o’clock Friday at Forkner’s Chapel, with the Rev. Dr. Peter W. Erickson, pastor of University Presbyterian Church, officiating. Burial will be in Acacia.
Dr. Hinsdale was born February 2, 1880 in Colfax, Iowa and was graduated from the University of Iowa Dental College, where he affiliated with Sigma Nu Fraternity. He began practicing in 1904 in Salt Lake City.
Surviving are his widow, Luella Crockett Hinsdale, at the family home, 5045 16th Avenue Northeast; a daughter, Mrs. Larry (Helen) Skattebol, who recently came to Seattle from Melbourne, Australia, where she has lived the past six years; a son, Edwin Crockett Hinsdale of Seattle and a sister, Mrs. Vester Morgan of Newton, Iowa.
