Mrs. A.W. Hastie Dies

Mrs. A.W. Hastie, a Seattle resident for twenty years, well known in church and benevolent work, died Friday evening at her home, 1726 Harvard Avenue.

She was born at Galesburg, Illinois, July 29, 1857. Until stricken with paralysis she was active in religious and charitable work and an attendant at the Plymouth Congregational Church. She is survived by her husband, Judge A.W. Hastie, two sons, Walter A. of Hoquiam, Washington and Warren D. of Goldfield, Nevada and a daughter, Gladys, a sophomore at Broadway High School. Funeral services will be held at Butterworth’s Chapel at 2 o’clock Monday afternoon.
