Mrs. Adolph Bronson
Funeral services were held in Renton Saturday for Mrs. Fern Bronson, widow of Dr. Adolph Bronson, early Renton physician and founder of the Bronson Memorial Clinic, the city’s first hospital. She died Thursday.
Mrs. Bronson, born in Kokomo, Indiana, had lived in Renton 43 years. She was a member of the Renton Presbyterian Church and the Order of Eastern Star.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Ruth Rideout, San Diego, California; a son, Carl Bronson, Seattle and three grandchildren.

Fern Bronson Services Held
Services for Fern Albertine Bronson, 65, who died April 21 in her home at Renton, were conducted by Stokes Mortuary in Renton last Saturday, with burial in Kent Cemetery under direction of Stokes and Chittenden.
Cause of death was laid to a stroke following the earthquake on April 13.
Mrs. Bronson was a member of the Presbyterian Church and had resided in this district since 1907. She was born February 6, 1883 in Kokomo, Indiana, to Dr. and Mrs. A.H. Chittenden. Her husband was the late Dr. Adolph Bronson of Renton.
Surviving her is a son, Carl, of Seattle, and a daughter, Mrs. Ruth Rideout of San Diego, California.
