William Curtiss was arrested by City Detective Easson this morning on a charge of having been the man who nearly scared a little girl into hysterics on Fourth avenue and Spring street yesterday. He is a butcher. He has caused the police considerable trouble. Curtiss had considerable money upon being searched at the station this morning. The little girl's story is being investigated by the police.
