HAESKE, Richard A., age 66 years, passed away at a local hospital Monday, March 26, (1945). Mr. Haeske was a retired tailor and resided at 2709 Birchwood Avenue. Deceased had resided here and at Blaine the past forty-two years. Surviving relatives are the widow, Louise, at home; three sons, C. M. at Arcadia, Calif.; Pvt. Leslie and Pfc. Walter F. Fleming, U.S. Army; one daughter, Lillian Schultze, Trona, Calif., and one grandson. Private services were conducted at the Harlow-Hollingsworth Funeral Home by the Rev. Ray L. Smith, Tuesday, March 27, at 10:30 a.m. Cremation.

HAEUSSLER, Jessie - Graveside services for Jessie Haeussler, 89, 3121 Squalicum Parkway, will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Bayview Cemetery, 2701 Lakeway Drive, with the Rev. Justin Garvie officiating. Mrs. Haeussler died Thursday in Bellingham. She was born Dec. 20, 1897, in Wilbur, Wash. and became one of the first women taxi cab drivers in Seattle in 1942. Survivors include a niece, Muriel Ellis; and a nephew, Kyle Westlund. Arrangements are by Jerns & LeVeck Funeral Chapel.

HAEUSSLER, Victor D., age 87, of 2501 E St. B;ham, passed away Sat., Dec. 14th in his home. He is survived by his wife Jessie E. Haeussler of B'ham. Private services are to be held. Arrangements by Jerns LeVeck Funeral Chapel.

HAFENSCHER, John Joseph, 603 Mead Ave., Everson, died of cancer Wednesday, August 30, 1989, at St. Joseph Hospital's Main Campus. He was born Sept. 10, 1913, in Port Townsend and moved to Everson in 1928. He married Dorothy Herrick on July 30, 1938, in Everett in a double ceremony with his brother Otto at their mother's home. He attended the Methodist Church, was a retired employee of the city of Everson and a volunteer fireman for Everson for 42 years. He enjoyed camping, and lake and saltwater fishing. He is survived by his wife, Dorothy; a son, Otto John Hafenscher and wife Judy of Marysville; a brother, Otto T. and wife Judy Hafenscher of Marysville; two sisters, Margarett and husband Elton Neilson and Mary and Bob Marr, all of Oregon; his mother-in-law, Lula Vander Yacht of Bellingham; three grandchildren, one great-grandchild and numerous nieces and nephews. Graveside services were held Saturday, Sept. 2, at Nooksack Cemetery with Rev. Neil Higbee officiating. Services were under the direction of Jerns LeVeck Funeral Chapel and Crematorium.

HAFLIDASON, Thorunn, age 91 of Blaine, passed away in a local resthome Saturday, November 12, (1966). A resident of Blaine for the past 12 years, she is survived by 4 daughters, Mrs. Lloyds Friend of Los Angeles, Mrs. Glennis King of Portland, Mrs. Gudmundina Gatehouse of Hartford, Conn., and Mrs. Johanna Anderson of Edmonds; also 10 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held in the McKinney Funeral Home, Thursday, November 17 at 11 a.m. with Rev. G. P. Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in Washelli Cemetery, Seattle.

HAFFNER, Angelina K., age 69, of 1328 Lakeway Dr., Bellingham, passed away in a local nursing home, March 25, 1991. She was born Oct. 2, 1921 in Eureka, CA to Ben & Teresa D'Andrea. She later married Charles Haffner. She lived in Whatcom for the past 30 years. Survived by 2 sons, Don Zangari & Steven Haffner, both of Bellingham; 2 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; 1 sister, Delores Weinand of Reno, Nevada. Funeral services were held at the Westford Funeral Home on Thurs. March 28, 10:30 a.m. Final interment Greenacres Memorial Park. Officiating was Father Jim Lee. HAFFNER, Charles I. - Funeral services for Charles I. Haffner, 66, who died Sunday (Feb. 21, 1988) in Bellingham, were this morning at Greenacres Memorial Park. Mr. Haffner, 1320 Lakeway Dr., was born July 9, 1921, and lived in Bellingham most of his life. He was a member of the Church of the Assumption and a lifetime member of the Disabled American Veterans society. Survivors include his wife, Angelina of the family home; two sons Donald Vangari (sic) and Steven Haffner, both of Bellingham; one sister, Lucile Foster of Port Orchard; two brothers, Pat Haffner of Ferndale and Lucky Haffner of California; and one grandson. HAFFNER, Laura G. - Funeral services for Laura G. Haffner, age 96 of 7521 Kendall Rd., Sumas, will be Wed. Dec. 2, at 1 p.m. at Jones Funeral Home, with Mr. George Hickok officiating. HAFNER, Lyle C. - Stanwood resident Lyle C. Hafner died Sunday, Jan. 3, 1993, of cancer. He was 52. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at Our Saviour's Lutheran Church in Stanwood. Burial will be in Anderson Cemetery in Stanwood. He was born May 24, 1940, in Harden, Mont., to Edmore and Esther Hafner. His family moved to Washington in 1956. A graduate of Bellingham High School, Mr. Hafner enjoyed fishing, hunting and bowling. He also played softball and was a coach for many years. Mr. Hafner worked for Roy N. Carlson Trucking the past 15 years. He was a member of Teamsters Local No. 38 and Stanwood Arie No. 3041. He was also a member of Twin City Mixer League, of which he was past president. He married his wife, Pamela, in 1958. He was preceded in death by his parents and by daughter Deborah LaVaughn Hafner. Survivors include his wife of the family home; daughter Melody Fure of Stanwood; son Jeffery L. Hafner of Arlington; brothers Edmore Hafner of Rochester, Wash., and Kenneth Hafner of Canby, Ore.; four grandchildren; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. HAFSTROM, Henning Erland, age 56 years passed away Saturday Dec. 28, (1957) after a short illness. He had resided in Blaine for the past 10 years. He was a member of the Silver Bowl Masonic Lodge No. 48, Butte, Montana. He leaves to survive his wife, Mary; one son, William, and one granddaughter, Sheila, all of Blaine; several relatives in the East. HAFSTROM, Mary, age 73, of 6507 Portal Way, Ferndale, died in a local hospital, Sun. July 1, 1979. She is survived by a son, William Hafstrom of Ferndale, 2 brothers; Edward Fortune in B'ham & John Fortune of Clarkston, WA. 2 sisters, Alice in Calif. & Vernie Bloomer in Portland. 1 granddaughter & 1 great granddaughter. HAGA, Jake, age 78 of 1364 Main St., Lynden, passed away on Tues. Feb. 19, 1980. Born (Oct. 25, 1901) in Manhatten, Montana, Mr. Haga moved to the Lynden area from Oak Harbor in 1935. A member of the First Christian Reformed Church in Lynden, Mr. Haga is survived by a daughter Mrs. Elizabeth (Dave) Jenkins of Portland, Oregon; a sister Mrs. Ann Hanson of Everett; numerous nieces and nephews. He was also preceded by his wife Maggie in 1967. Funeral services will be conducted on Friday Feb. 22 at 1 p.m. in the First Christian Reformed Church with Rev. Arie Leegwater officiating. Burial will follow in Monumenta Cemetery. Services are under the direction of the Gillies Funeral Home.

HAGA, Maggie, age 75, 1364 Main Street, Lynden, passed away Monday, March 20, (1967) in a Bellingham Hospital. She was a member of the Second Christian Reformed Church. Survived by her husband Jake; 1 daughter, Mrs. David Jenkins, Portland; 4 brothers John Burgraff of Michigan, Hugo, Albert and Marion Burgraff of Lynden; 3 sisters Mrs. Lizzie Dyksterhuis, Sumas, Mrs. Janie Nymeyer, Mrs. Sadie Joneli both of Lynden. Funeral services will be held Friday March 24 at 2 p.m. at the Second Christian Reformed Church with Rev. John DeJong officiating. Burial will follow in Monumenta Cemetery under the direction of Gillies Funeral Home.

HAGAN, Jeanne, age 77 who resided at 1801 F St., passed away in a local hospital, Friday June 22, (1962) following an extended illness. Mrs. Hagan was a member of the Church of the Assumption, the Altar Society and the Legion of Mary. She was a widow of the late Frank G. Hagan and was married in Paris, France, in 1918, and came to Bellingham in 1921. She leaves to survive two daughters, Mrs. Marie Morris and Miss Jeanne Hagan. Also three grandchildren, Mary Ann, Martha, and Michael Morris, all residing in Bellingham. The remains will lie in state in the Chapel of Bingham & Jerns Funeral Home. Rosary will be recited in the Church of the Assumption on Sunday, June 24, at 7 p.m. Requiem High Mass will be celebrated in the Church on Monday, June 25, at 9:30 a.m. under the direction of the Bingham & Jerns Funeral Home. HAGAN, Mattie, of Longview, passed away Sat., Dec. 24, (1977). Mrs. Hagen was raised in the Lawrence area and operated a gift shop in Longview. She is survived by 1 sister in San Jose, Calif.; numerous nieces and nephews including Vernon Hatch, City. Graveside services were held Tues., Dec. 27 at 3 p.m. at Bethany Cemetery (Nugent's Corner). HAGE, Peder Magnus, age 74, of Lopez Island, passed away in a local hospital Sunday, Jan. 15, (1961). A former resident of St. Paul, Minn., where he was a practicing attorney and contractor, Mr. Hage had resided on Lopez for the past 10 years; was a member of the First Church of Christ, Scientist; was a charter member of the fourth church at St. Paul and a member of the Mother Church in Boston, Mass.; was a life member of the D.A.V. and a veteran of World War I. Survivors are his widow, Eleanor J., at home; four sons, William L. of Pacifica, Calif., Thomas P., of Lake Charles, La., James M., of Seattle and Richard L.; one daughter, Mrs. Cora Marie Hack, of Seattle; 14 grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Robert Norton of Ronan, Mont.; one brother, Sigmund Hage of Long Beach, Calif. The remains rest at the Jones Funeral Home where Christian Science Services will be read Wednesday, Jan. 18, at 1 p.m., followed by cremation.

HAGEMAN, Jacques Hajo – August 3, 1918 – May 16, 2007 – He died as gently as he lived. As intensely as he loved his family, it was time for him to rejoin Nini, his beloved wife of 59 years. While earthly father to only three children, Jacques Lucien (1948-1972), Catherine Anne and Philip Xavier (Julie), he was also the very, very, very dearly loved "Pa" and mentor to so many more. He waited for each of us to have our moment with him before finally leaving on Wednesday afternoon the 16th of May 2007. At his request, no services will be held. HAGEMAN, Nini (van der Velde) June 15, 1921 – December 29, 2006 -- On the evening of the 29th of December our wife, mother, wise counsel and friend quietly slipped away at home in her sleep to the rest she wanted above all. Left here is Jacques, her adoring and devoted husband of 58 years, children Catherine Ann, Philip Xavier, daughter-in-law Julie and the family they share. Waiting for her were their first born son Jacques Lucien, her parents, siblings, and dear friends who went ahead. "Dank je voor alles Moedertje van ons" At her request, no services will be held. HAGEN, Bernt "Ben" Tobias, age 77, of 212 W. Champion St., passed away in a local hospital, Tuesday, Aug. 30, (1960). A resident of Bellingham for the past 52 years, Mr. Hagen was a retired fisherman, having been employed by P.A.F. and Columbia River Packers for many years; was a member of the Lutheran Church; a member of Bellingham Bay Lodge No. 44, F. & A.M.; a 49 year member of the Knights of Pythias, Lodge No. 56. HAGEN, Charlotte, age 80, 521 Lakeway Drive, passed away in a local hospital Wednesday, October 16, (1963). Mrs. Hagen was a fifty-eight-year resident of this city, and a member of Central Lutheran Church. Survivors are two daughters, Mrs. James P. Kane, Wenatchee; Mrs. Raymond W. Bremner, Fresno, Calif., and four grandchildren. The remains rest at the Jones Funeral Home where services will be conducted by Pastor Obed L. G. HAGEN, Christian O., age 73, of Deming, passed away in a local hospital Tuesday, November 7, (1967). A resident of Whatcom County for the past 57 years, he had been a bus driver in the Mount Baker School District for 35 years. He was a member of Mount Shuksan Post No. 224 American Legion. Surviving are 3 sisters, Ragna Hatch of Everson; Mattie Hagen of Longview; Gina Broadbent of San Jose, Cal.; a brother, John of Tacoma; numerous nieces and nephews. HAGEN, Florence Marian, age 48, 1315 Lakeway Drive, passed away Monday, June 28th, (1965). A twenty-two year resident of this city, Mrs. Hagen had attended St. Paul's Episcopal Church, and was co-operator of the Circle 24 Answering Service the past year. Survivors are her husband J. HAGEN, Gilbert S., age 94 who resided at 1509 Victor Street, passed away in a local nursing home September 25, 1981. He had been a resident of Bellingham & Laurel for the past 80 years and was a retired farmer and Veteran of WWI; a member of the Lynden Masonic Lodge, No. 56, F. & AM; and the Eastern Star. He leaves to survive 1 son, Gilbert of Alaska; 1 brother Richard Hagen of Stanwood; 4 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild. Masonic funeral services will be held Thursday, October 1 at 2 p.m. in the Veroske, Jerns & LeVeck Funeral Chapel, with cremation to follow.

HAGEN, James B. - Bellingham High School graduate Capt. James B. Hagen, USN, died Friday, March 27, 1992. A resident of Upper Marlboro, Md., he was 51. He was born Dec. 24, 1940, in Vancouver, B.C., and attended school in Bellingham. A 1958 graduate from Bellingham High School, he had earned state and AAU swimming honors. He enlisted in the U.S. Navy in April 1959. He later attended the University of Colorado and was commissioned in August 1966. Following graduation he served as electronics officer aboard the USS Sea Owl before attending officer submarine and nuclear power training. Captain Hagen served in a variety of engineering division officer assignments during patrols aboard the USS Kamahameha and the USS Flasher. He graduated from the U.S. Naval Postgraduate School in Monterey, Calif., with a master's degree in oceanography. He was commanding officer of the USS Pargo from September 1982 to January 1985. Following attendance at the U.S. Naval War College, he was appointed director of submarine warfare, operations and research department at the Navy Operational Intelligence Center at Suitland, Md. In August 1991 he was named head of the force architecture and requirements branch for the Chief of Naval Operations in Washington, D.C. Captain Hagen received multiple awards of the Meritorious Service Medal, the Navy Commendation Medal, and the Navy Achievement Medal, as well as various unit, service and campaign medals and ribbons. Survivors include his wife Jane and children John Hagen, Julie Hagen, Jennifer Hagen and Jay Hagen, all of the family home; and brothers Dale Hagen of Bellingham and Grant Hagen of Seattle. Burial will be at 9 a.m. on Wednesday in Arlington National Cemetery. Arrangements are by Lee Funeral Home in Clinton, Md.

HAGEN, James E., age 62, of 3008 Cornwall Ave., passed away Friday, Dec. 19, (1976). Mr. Hagen was a millwright for Georgia Pacific an a 33 year resident of this community. Surviving wife, Alma; three sons, James B. of Portsmouth, N.H., Dale and Grant of city; one brother, Marshall Finkenhagen of B.C.; three sisters, Mrs. Ruth LePine of Saanichton, B.C. and Mrs. Jean McKinnon, Mrs. Allen Moore of Victoria, B.C.; 3 grandchildren. Memorial services will be held Monday, Dec. 13 at 11 a.m. at the Unity Church of Truth, Rev. Howard Armstrong, officiating. Cremation arrangements by Jones Funeral Home.

HAGEN, John E., 79, who lived in Whatcom County for more than 30 years, died May 26, (1980) in a hospital near his home at Hagen, Minn. His parents were early pioneers of that area. Born March 15, 1902, in Minnesota, he had been in the shipbuilding trade as a boilermaker for 23 years. He was an avid outdoorsman until his health failed. He was a member of Big Bend Lutheran Church in Minnesota. He is survived by two sons, three daughters, nine grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, three sisters, a brother and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held May 29 at Big Bend Lutheran Church. Burial was in Big Bend Cemetery.

HAGEN, Kay D., age 47, passed away in Seattle, Jan. 27, (1977). He was born in Bellingham, Dec. 31, 1929. He attended Bellingham schools, in later years worked in the Maritime Services as a cook and seaman. He was a member of the Seafarers Union Local of Seattle, AFL-CIO. Mr. Hagen was a veteran of Army service during the Korean conflict. He is survived by his mother, Mrs. Virginia Perry of Oak Harbor; 2 sisters, Mrs. Joyce Kildow of Oklahoma City and Mrs. Marlene Johnson of Calif. Funeral services will be held at the graveside Friday, Feb. 11 at 1 p.m. in the Free Lutheran Cemetery near Bellingham. Rev. Lewin Clefisch of the Immanuel Lutheran Church, Everson, officiating. HAGEN, Mona, age 84, passed away in a local nursing home Feb. 25, 1980. She had been a 60 year resident of Bellingham and was a graduate of St. Luke's Nursing School. She was a member of the United Presbyterian Church and leaves to survive her husband, Gilbert of Bellingham, 1 son, Gilbert Hagenes of Alaska, also 8 sisters, Tillie Hansen & Francis (sic) Buck & Ruby Banks, all of Bellingham, Veda Ceraig, Bessie Litts, Mazie Wright, Ruth Tate, Dorothy Parker, all of Seattle, also 4 grandchildren & 1 great grandchild. HAGEN, Olaf A., age 66, of the Mt. Baker Apartments, passed away in a local hospital Monday, July 10, (1956). Mr. Hagen had resided in this community for the past 46 years, was a janitor at the Bellingham Public Market and a member of the Christian Missionary Alliance Church. Surviving relatives include one son, Kay D. of Seattle; two daughters, Mrs. Joyce Kildow and Mrs. Marlene Johnson, both of Oakland, Calif.; three grandchildren; two brothers, John of Tacoma and Christian Hagen of Deming; three sisters, Mrs. Ragna J. HAGEN, Ole S., age 85 years, of West Sound, passed away in a local hospital Friday, April 25, (1952) following a short illness. Mr. Hagen was a retired farmer. He is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Ray VanMoorhem, of East Sound. The remains will be forwarded to Friday Harbor for interment by the Westford-Beck Funeral Home.

HAGEN, Otto, age 75, of 521 Lakeway Drive, passed away in a local hospital Wednesday, June 4, (1952). Mr. Hagen had resided here for the past 49 years and was a retired partner in the Hagen & Hogberg Paint & Wallpaper Company. He was a member of Bellingham Bay Lodge No. 44, F. & A. M., Scottish Rite Bodies, Hesperus Commandery No. 8, Knights Templar, Shrine Order of Eastern Star, and Bellingham Lodge No. 194, B.P.O. Elks. He was a charter member of the Rotary Club and had served several terms on the city council. He leaves to survive, his wife, Mrs. Charlotte Hagen, at home; two daughters, Mrs. Evelyn Bremner, in California, and Mrs. Irene Kane, of Wenatchee; four grandchildren; two brothers, Einar Hagen, in Norway, and Oscar Hagen, of Park Ridge, Illinois, and two sisters, Mrs. Augusta Ness, in Seattle, and Miss Elsie Hagen, in Norway. HAGEN, Pedar M., age 85, of 2119 B Street, passed away in a local hospital Thursday, June 19, (1952). Mr. Hagen had resided here for the past 30 years and was a retired farmer. He was a member of the Lutheran Church and leaves to survive, one son, Elmer C. Hagen, of Auburn, Washington; one daughters, Mrs. Olga P. Egbert, of Everett; 6 grandchildren; one brother, Henry Hagen, of Minneapolis, Minnesota, and several brothers in Norway. HAGEN, Rhoda Gean, 66, of Birdsview, died Monday in Sedro-Woolley. She was born Rhoda McDougall on July 23, 1924, in Custer. She married Keith R. Hagen on Nov. 29, 1968, in Stanwood. He survives her at the family home. Other survivors include sons Kenneth Caldwell of Sedro-Woolley and Ronald Caldwell of Houston, Texas; daughters Patricia Manning, Judy Anderson and Evelyn Stone, all of Seattle; step-sons Steven Hagen and Victor Hagen of Burlington and Gene Hagen of Mount Vernon; a stepdaughter, Sydna Stendal of Sedro-Woolley; sisters Velenna Steiner, Elvera Dietz and Leverta Stevens, all of Seattle; 24 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday at Greenacres Funeral Home, 5700 Northwest Road, Ferndale. Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Greenacres Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Greenacres Memorial Park.

A Whatcom County resident for 65 years, he was a lifetime member of the Bellingham Gun Club and the National Rifle Association. He sang for the former KVOS radio station and at various events. HAGEN, Sigrid, age 84 of Bellingham, died Monday, April 18, 1983. She came to this area in 1925, attended Central Lutheran Church, and was an active member of the Sons of Norway. HAGEN, Sigvart, 96, passed away, January 6, 1992, at the Shuksan nursing home. He was born Sigvart Liahagen, January 22, 1895 in Torpo, Hallingdal, Norway. He immigrated to the United States in 1913, settled in Brinsmade, North Dakota and later homesteaded at Wolf Point, Montana. He was drafted into the U.S. Army during World War I and was stationed in Fort Lewis. After his discharge he began logging in Hoquiam, WA. He moved to Bellingham in 1925 and bought a farm on East Smith Road. Much of this land remains in the family today. He returned to Norway in 1926 and brought back his bride-to-be, Sigraid Moen. They were married in Vancouver, B.C. October 20, 1926 and settled on their farm in Bellingham. He was a 50 year member of the Wergland Lodge of the Sons of Norway and a charter shareholder of Mt. Baker Plywood. He was preceded in death by his wife of 57 years and nine brothers and sisters. His survivors include two brothers, Wigger, 91 and Herman, 85, both of Norway, his son Vernon Hagen and wife, Diane, of Bellingham, his two daughters, Laurine Keyes, and husband, Bill, of Bellingham and Anne Garnaas Dillon and husband, Dick, of Queen Creek, Ariz., his grandsons, Vaughn, Kevan and Kary Hagen, Bill, Ross, Rick, and Peter Keyes, and Neil, Arvid and Cory Garnaas, his granddaughters, Vernene Scheurer, Stephanie DeHart, Carol Bentley and Kris Halterman and twenty three great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at the Sons of Norway Lodge, 1419 Forest St. at 2 p.m. on Saturday January 11, 1992.

HAGEN, Vona - A memorial service for Vona Harmon Hagen will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday at Stafholt Good Samaritan Center with the Rev. Dennis Wildermuth officiating. Mrs. Hagen died Sunday, March 2, 1997, at Stafholt. She was 85. Born June 19, 1911, in Reardan, she graduated from Roger's High School in Spokane and attended Eastern Washington University in Cheney. She married Arnold Hagen in 1936 in Spokane. He died in 1982. A homemaker, Mrs. Hagen moved to Whatcom County in 1992. She served as president of the residents' council at Stafholt since 1994. Survivors include sons Glen Hagen of Blaine and Robert Hagen of Spokane, four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

HAGENS, Jacob Adrian (Jack), age 31, of Lynden, passed away in a local hospital Tuesday, May 22,(1956) following a short illness. Mr. Hagens was a veteran of World War II. HAGG, Andrew Victor, age 79, of 2315 Williams Street, passed away in a local hospital Wednesday, January 17, (1951) following a lingering illness. Mr. Hagg had been a resident of Bellingham for the past 23 years and was formerly a captain of the Seattle fire department, member of the Eagles Lodge and secretary of the Washington Pension Union. Surviving relatives include two daughters, Mrs. Madeline Baldrey and Mrs. Beatrice Montgomery, both of Bellingham; one grandson, Gordon Needham, of Vallejo, Calif.; two brothers, George in San Francisco, Calif., and Gustav in Chicago, Ill.; one sister, Gerda Ostberg, of Rochester, N.Y.; numerous nephews and nieces. HAGGARD, Fred E., 70, a former Bellingham resident and member of the State Gambling Commission, died Sunday in a Seattle hospital. He was born April 7, 1910, in Washington, and had been living in Seattle at the time of his death. He was appointed to the Gambling Commission in 1977 by Gov. Dixy Lee Ray and served as chairman in 1979. He started in the newspaper business in the 1930s as a reporter for Northwest Farm News in Bellingham. His father started the first general store in the Maple Falls area. He worked in the advertising department of the Seattle Post-Intelligencer for five years before becoming editor of the Bellingham Guide, a weekly newspaper. In 1947, he joined Kemper-Thomas Advertising Company. He later became sales manager, vice-president and general sales manager of Osborne-Kemper-Thomas Advertising Company in Cincinnati. He returned to Seattle in 1960 and formed Fred E. Haggard and Associates Advertising Specialty Firm. H was serving as president and active associate at the time of his death. He also was active in Seattle Democratic politics. He was the Democratic candidate for the state Senate from the 44th District in 1966. He later served as chairman of the 44th District Democratic organization and managed several successful campaigns. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Evelyn, a son, three grandsons, and a granddaughter. Rosary will be held at 8 p.m. Wednesday at Bonney-Watson Funeral Home on Broadway, Seattle. HAGGARD, Leslie E., age 73 years, of Maple Falls, passed away in a local hospital Saturday, September 8, (1951) following a lingering illness. Mr. Haggard was a retired merchant, having resided in Maple Falls for the past 50 years. He was a member of the St. Peters Catholic Church and a life member of the Elks Lodge B.P.O.E. No. 194. Mr. Haggard is survived by his wife, Julia; two sons, Henry E. and Fred E., both of Seattle; daughter, Mrs. Rodger Dille of Tacoma; one brother Harvey E., of Seattle; nine grandchildren; also many nieces and nephews. HAGGARD, Rachel Peters, wife of the late William Wade Haggard, former president of Western Washington University, died Saturday in Seattle. Mrs. Haggard was born on July 3, 1906, in Ashley, Pa., to Adda and Robert Peters. She graduated from Ashley High School, from West Chester State College in West Chester, Pa., and from Columbia University in New York City, where she received a master's degree. Mrs. Haggard taught at West Chester State College, Bushnell University, Jersey City State College and Western Washington University, where she met her husband. William Haggard was president of the university, then a college from 1939 to 1959. He died in 1977. Following their retirements, the couple moved to Seattle. Mrs. Haggard was active in Kappa Delta Pi, PEO Sisterhood and Sand Point Community Church. She was a reader for the Braille and Taping Service for the Blind. Survivors include step-daughters Margaret Miller of Bellingham, Joan King of Seattle and Wade S. Haggard of Kirkland; 11 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; brother Robert H. Peters Jr., Forty Fort, Pa.; sister Viola Thomas of South Carolina; a niece; and four nephews. Mrs. Haggard has donated her body to scientific research at the University of Washington Medical School.

HAGGARD, Wade Swift - A service for Wade Swift Haggard, formerly of Bellingham, will be at 3 p.m. Sunday at University Unitarian Church in Seattle. Mr. Haggard died Monday, June 9, 1997, in Seattle. He was 73. Born Jan. 12, 1924, to William and Norma Swift Haggard, he received his bachelor's and master's degrees from Western Washington State College, now Western Washington University. He served in the Navy during World War II in the V-12 program and underwater demolition unit. Mr. Haggard worked for the Seattle School District as a teacher, principal and deputy superintendent. He retired in 1988. He was a member of University Unitarian Church, Washington Education Association and Washington Principals Association. Mr. Haggard enjoyed traveling, gardening and spending summers of Decatur Island. Survivors include his wife, Marijune Eide, of the family home; five children; sisters Margaret Miller of Bellingham and Joan King of Seattle; seven grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

HAGGARTY, Valentine, age 87 years, 3312 Lakeway Drive, passed away at the family home Sunday evening Sept. 2, (1945) after a lingering illness. Mr. Haggerty had resided in Bellingham and Whatcom county for the past fifty years and was a member of the Assumption church of this city. Surviving relatives include two sisters, Sr. Reparata, of Bethlehem Academy, Bardstown, Ky., and Elizabeth Haggarty, of Bellingham; also five nieces and four nephews. HAGGEN, Gilbert C. passed away in Bellingham, WA, on Wednesday, August 13, 1997. He was born October 22, 1910, to Lewis and Ida (Hoveland) Haggen in the Bellingham home that Lewis built in 1906. He was from a large family and was the last of his generation. Gilbert worked in many lines of work but retired as an electrician. He was a member of Electrical Workers Union #191, the Central Lutheran Church, the Whatcom County Museum, and B.P.O. Elks Lodge #194. He enjoyed traveling, visiting and helping people. Gilbert enjoyed photography, fishing rock collecting, and antiques, and was especially interested in his grandchildren. His son Glenn Haggen preceded him in death on September 21, 1993. Mrs. Haggen is the widow of Clarence Haggen, brother of Ben Haggen, founder of Haggen's supermarket. Mrs. Haggen is survived by a son, Clarence of Bothell; two daughters, Luella Hausske of Seattle and June Haggen of Whidbey Island; 11 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

HAGGEN, Marie (Patterson), age 78 of Mt. Vernon, former Bellingham resident, passed away Fri. Nov. 21, 1980, at United General Hospital. She was born Jan. 16, 1902 in International Falls, Minn., and came to Washington as a young girl. Her marriage to Homer Patterson took place in 1929 in Bellingham; Mr. Patterson died in 1961. She was united in marriage to Bert Haggen on June 6, 1972 in Bellingham; Mr. Haggen died July 14, 1980. She was a member of the Fredonia Grange, Skagit County and had been employed for many years as a waitress at the Leopold Hotel, retiring in 1972. HAGGEN, Sandra, age 10 months, infant daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Howard E. (Bud) Haggen of 3142 Coolidge Drive passed away in a local hospital Sunday, February 15, (1948). HAGGLUND, Martha, age 87 years, of Route 1, Blaine, passed away at a Bellingham hospital Sunday, March 29, (1953) following a short illness. HAGIN, Ed - A graveside service for Whatcom County native Ed Hagin will be at 3 p.m. Thursday in Greenacres Memorial Park. The Rev. George Bedlion will officiate. George Ficken will present the eulogy. Mr. Hagin, 37, of 1130 W. Smith Road, died Tuesday, May 5, 1992, following a heart attack. He was born July 15, 1954, in Forks to Robert and Joyce Johnson Hagin and was a longtime resident of Whatcom County. He married Julie Russell in August 1976 in Ferndale's Pioneer Park. She survives him at the family home. Mr. Hagin was a 20-year member of the International Union of Operating Engineers Local 302 of Seattle. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Ferndale and the Knights of Columbus. He loved camping and hunting and the outdoors. Other survivors include his sons Zebulon Hagin and Josh Hagin, both of the family home; his parents Robert and Joyce Hagin of Ferndale; brothers Dave Hagin of Ferndale, Bob Hagin of Everett, Jim Hagin of Custer and Charles Hagin of Birch Bay; his sister Jolene Hagin of Seattle; and numerous nieces and nephews. HAGIN, Ervin, age 36 years, of Sumas, Rt. No. 1, passed away near Shuksan Friday, Sept. 28, (1956). Mr. Hagin had been a lifetime resident of the Clearbrook district. HAGIN, John Edmund, age 78, of Route 1, Sumas, passed away in a Bellingham Rest Home Thursday, July 28, (1960). Mr. Hagin was born in Sumas April 14, 1882, and had lived here his entire life. Surviving are his wife, Rose at home; one daughter, Mrs. Frank Steiner of Sumas; one sister, Mrs. Nettie Kaden of Retsil, Wash., also six grandchildren. HAGIN, Leonard, 72, 2936 Patton Street, passed away Sunday, Nov. 28, (1982). He was born at Clearbrook and had lived in Bellingham for the past 20 years. He had been employed by the Bellingham Cold Storage for eight years and the Darigold in Lynden for eight years. He was a retired logger from Forks and was part owner of a shingle mill with his father in Marble Mount. He was a member of the United Lodge, No. 93, F&AM of Sedro Woolley. He is survived by his wife Madeline, one son Gene of Bellingham and one daughter Mary Ann Merchants of Lansing, Michigan, his mother, Nellie Hagin of Bellingham, one brother, Robert Hagin of Ferndale, two sisters, Gladys Stone and Dorothy Bassett, both of Everett. There are three grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held Wednesday, Dec. 1 in Lakeside Cemetery at Clearbrook with Rev. Al Currier officiating. Services were under the direction of the Westford Funeral Home.

HAGIN, Madeline M. - Bellingham resident Madeline M. Hagin, 83, died Wednesday (Nov. 29, 1989) at a local nursing home. Graveside services were held Monday, Dec. 4, at Bayview Cemetery with pastor Al Currier officiating. A graduate of Sumas High School, Mrs. Hagin was an American Red Cross volunteer during World War II. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Orie Brown, and her second husband, Leonard Hagin. HAGIN, Nell E. - Private family services for Nell E. Hagin, 100, a housewife and lifelong resident of Whatcom county, will be Saturday at Clearbrook Cemetery, with the Rev. Al Currier officiating. Mrs. Hagin, of 3121 Squalicum Parkway died Monday in Bellingham. She was born Dec. 19, 1888, in St. Cloud, Minn. Her family moved to Whatcom County when she was 2 years old. She graduated from Whatcom High School in 1906. Her husband, Roy, died in 1948. A son, Leonard, died in 1982. Survivors include a son, Robert of Ferndale; two daughters, Dorothy H. Bassett of Everett and Gladys Stone of Phoenix, Ariz.; 12 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren. Arrangements are by Jerns & LeVeck Funeral Chapel and Crematorium.

HAGIN, Robert E., age 73, lifetime resident of Whatcom County, passed away at home with his family October 21, 1997. He was born in Sumas, WA November 12, 1923 to Nellie (Jones) and Roy Hagin. During WWII he proudly served his country as an Air Force B-29 pilot and flight engineer. He married Joyce Johnson of Rockport on September 8, 1946. Bob was a partner in the operations of Hagin Shingle Mill in Marblemount and Forks, WA. His early years in construction were in building Ross and Gorge High Dams on the North Cascade Highway. After a long career as a surveyor that included the building of all the local refineries, co-founder of Construction Surveyors, numerous other surveying jobs, and member of Union #302 Operating Engineers, he enjoyed his retirement. His love for the outdoors and gardening were evident by the homestead. He was a lover of all sports, and Boy Scout master of the Custer troop. When not gardening, thinking in his chair, visiting with family or playing with his dog Teddy, he could be found bringing new life to an old forgotten piece of furniture. Family and friends will remember him for his wonderful sense of humor, integrity and commitment to his loved ones. Mr. Hagin is preceded in death by his sons John in 1952 and Ed in 1992; his brother Leonard Hagin; and sister Gladys Stone. Surviving him are his loving wife of 51 year Joyce; daughter-in-law Julie of Ferndale; son Dave and Jeri Hagin of Ferndale; daughter Jolene Hagin of Seattle; son Bob and Allison Hagin of Everett; son Jim Hagin and Candis Haws of Birch Bay; son Charlie and Kelli Hagin also of Birch Bay; twelve grandchildren; sister Dorothy Bassett of Mill Creek; and numerous nieces and nephews. HAGLER, Bert Fletcher, age 68, a resident of 1434 Smith Road, passed away at a local hospital, Wednesday, March 6, (1946). Mr. Hagler had been a resident of North Bellingham for the past year but for forty years previously had been a resident of Wenatchee. He was a member of the North Bellingham Grange, a long-time member of the B.P.O.E. No. 1186 of Wenatchee, and up to a year ago was employed by the Great Northern Railway Company in Wenatchee as yard foreman. He is survived by the widow, Elizabeth; two step-sons, Merritt M. Newdall, of Portland, Clifford O. Newdall, of Bellingham; one sister, Mrs. Edna Ione Altnow, of Seattle; two grandchildren, Merritt O. and Janie Newdall, of Portland; also several other relatives in this county. HAGLUND, Byron E. - Services for retired Western Washington University professor Byron E. Haglund, 73, will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Westford Funeral Home with Scott Jakel officiating. Haglund, of 2809 William[s] St., died Wednesday (June 26, 1991) at home. Mr. Haglund was born May 7, 1918, in Minneapolis, Minn., and had lived in Whatcom County for the past 33 years. He was a business professor at Western Washington University from 1956 to 1982, serving as accounting department chairman from 1976 to 1979. After his retirement, he wrote, edited and published books and articles on economics. He served as commander in the U.S. Coast Guard during World War II. He received numerous commendations for bravery in action. Mr. Haglund completed graduate work at the University of Minnesota. Survivors include ex-wives Lillian Muench of Bellingham and Helen Haglund of Everett; mother Florence A. Haglund of Minneapolis; and two brothers, Harold and Art Haglund of Minneapolis.

HAGON, Antoinette "Toni" age 96 of Bellingham, WA, passed away Monday, Aug. 18, 1997 at home. She was born Feb. 11, 1901 in Bellingham to Maxime & Ricka (Olson) Rochefort. A life resident of Whatcom County, Mrs. Hagon graduated from Fairhaven High School and Western Washington University. Mrs. Hagon taught school in the Bellingham School District for most of her career until retirement. HAHN, Ardell John, age 69, of 205 Reeds Lane, Everson, passed away Mon., May 12, 1997, at Harborview Medical Center in Seattle. He was born Jan. 1, 1928, in Edgerton, WI to John and Mabel (Lowe) Hahn and had been a Whatcom County resident for the past 27 years. Mr. Hahn served in the U.S. Army. He married Eldora Biles on June 15, 1957, in Wenatchee and was a bus driver in Seattle and Bellingham. He enjoyed walking, gardening, fishing trips with his family, meeting friends for coffee, and playing with his grandchildren. He is survived by his wife, Eldora Hahn of the family home; 4 sons; Terry Hahn and Debby of Paradise Valley, WA, Daniel Hahn and Rynda of Burlington, Major Hahn and June of Paradise Valley, Michael and Orlene Hahn of Moses Lake, daughter, Marlea & Paul Engelhart of Everson; sister, Mary Sortor of Port Orchard; 5 grandchildren; and numerous other family members. HAHN, John S. - Memorial services for John S. Hahn, 73, of 5913 Vista Drive, Ferndale, will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Moles Funeral Home Chapel,, officiated by the Rev. Stephen S. Davis. Mr. Hahn volunteered for the American Red Cross from 1943 to 1968 in Sacramento, Calif., and also volunteered as a driver for various hospitals in the Sacramento area, where he worked as an insurance salesman. HAHN, Mabel C. - Graveside services will be held at 4 p.m. Saturday in Greenacres Memorial Park for Mrs. Mabel C. Hahn of Seattle, former Whatcom County resident. Mrs. Hahn died suddenly last Saturday in Seattle where the family had resided in recent years. She was the wife of John Hahn. The Hahns were longtime residents of the Pleasant Valley community before moving to Seattle. Besides her husband, a son, daughter and one grandchild, all in Seattle, survive. The graveside services will be conducted by Everett Wilcox and Fred Miller. They will be preceded by services at 1 p.m. in the Green Lake Funeral Home in Seattle.

HAHN, Rory Wayne (Hall), of Santa Rosa, Calif., died Wednesday, Aug. 25, 1993. He was 26. HAHNEY, Lucile, age 89, passed away April 20, 2007 in Bellingham. Cile was born in Joliet, Illinois in 1918, the daughter of Per August and Julia Anderson. She was preceded in death by husband Mark, two brothers Arnold T. and Albin R. Anderson, two sisters Mildred Anderson and Marguerite Cody. She is survived by son Tom (Cheryl) Hahney of Ferndale and daughter Sue (Don) Kratsch of St. Paul, MN; step-grandsons Kenn (Jessica) Hunter of Scottsdale, and Michael (Ellsa) Hunter and their daughter Arianna of Seattle. Cile was a mother extraordinaire! And her greatest joy was watching her children grow. She formed the warm heart of an Air Force family, helping her children thrive in new homes and schools. Her ability to enter into others' joys and sorrows made her friends wherever she lived. She delighted in children, music, birds, nature, "things English," and travel. Two highlights of her life were the 4 years the family spent in Japan and a trip to England. Although physically limited in recent years, she maintained a positive spirit and an extraordinary desire to learn. She got her first computer at age 80 and used it to keep in touch with friends near and far. Special thanks to her caregivers, staff and friends at Orchard Park Assisted Living and Whatcom Hospice. Private services will be held. Among her many gifts she left her poetry: "Is not my quest to learn To Be, To learn to live at One with me? And dare I say, though it be bold, At Times my dooryard's filled with gold."

HAICHEL, Mary Catherine, age 73, who resided at 1611 16th St., passed away in a local hospital, Monday, Dec. 17, (1962) following a brief illness. Mrs. Haichel had resided in Bellingham for the past 55 years and was a member of the Sacred Heart Church and the Altar Society. She leaves to survive her son, Fred at the family home; three daughters, Mrs. Annette Neal, Mrs. Pauline Costanti, Mrs. Mary Zuanich, all of Bellingham; her sister Anastacia in Argentina; two brothers, Frank and Joseph Lesaga in Poland; seven grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Rosary will be recited in the Chapel of Bingham & Jerns Funeral Home on Wednesday, Dec. 19, at 7:30 p.m. Requiem High Mass will be on Thursday, Dec. 20, at 9:30 a.m. in the Sacred Heart Church with Rev. HAICKEL, Frank G., age 50, who resided at 2711 McKenzie St., passed a way suddenly on Thursday, June 14, (1962). Mr. Haickel had resided in Bellingham his entire lifetime. He was a World War II veteran, a member of the V.F.W. William Mathews Post No. 1585; the Washington Police Officers Association and the Whatcom County Sheriffs Posse. He was a member of the Fishermen and Allied Workers Union Local N. 3 ILWU of Seattle. Mr. Haickel was a retired police sergeant, having served with the Bellingham Police Dept. from June 22, 1937, to Dec. 31, 1959. He leaves to survive his wife, Hazel, at the family residence; his mother, Mrs. Mary Haickel, his brother, Fred and three sisters, Mrs. Pauline Costanti, Mrs. Mary Zuanich and Mrs. Anne Neal, all of Bellingham; his step-daughter, Shirley Hollingsworth of Los Angeles, also numerous nieces and nephews. Rosary will be recited in the Chapel of Bingham & Jerns Funeral Home on Sunday, June 17, at 7:30 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted on Monday June 18, at 2 o'clock in the Chapel of Bingham & Jerns Funeral Home, followed by interment in Bay View Cemetery and presentation of the flag by the VFW.

HAIGH, Ann D., age 89, passed away Aug. 26, 1990 at Bellingham Care Center and was formerly of 2510 F St., Bellingham. She had worked at the Senior Center for years and a former member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church. She was born in Scotland and received her schooling in Scotland. Her hobby was knitting. She is survived by 4 daughters, Ann McCandles of Bellingham, Jean Schow of Orcas Island, Vera Gerrard of Edmonds, WA., Edith Bedow of Vancouver, B.C. and 1 son Tom Haigh of Blackpool, England; 12 grandchildren & 6 great-grand children. She was preceded in death by her husband Tom Haigh. Services pending at the Westford Funeral Home.

HAIGWOOD, Malinda Winifred of Rush Springs, Oklahoma, passed away Sunday, July 13, (1958) in a Bellingham hospital. Mrs. Haigwood was here on a visit when she became ill. She was a member of the Baptist Church of Rush Springs. Survivors include 2 daughters, Mrs. Elizabeth Gaudina of LaCrescenta, Calif.; Mrs. Harriet Holland of Norman, Oklahoma; 4 sons, James of Tujunga, Calif.; John of Idaho Falls, Idaho; Roy of Atascadero, Calif.; Raymond of Ferndale; two sisters, Mrs. Molly Brown of Altus, Oklahoma; Mrs. Elizabeth Leveritt of Rush Springs, Oklahoma; nine grandchildren. Funeral services will be held in the Monroe Funeral Chapel Wednesday, July 16, at 3 p.m. with Rev. Ralph Funkhouser officiating. Final resting place Woodlawn Cemetery.

HAILEY, Earl R. - A memorial service for Earl R. Hailey of 2015 Granger Way, Lummi Island, will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Lummi Island Church with the Rev. Larry Conrad officiating. Mr. Hailey died Friday, Dec. 10, 1993. He was 64. Born Sept. 20, 1929, to Earl and Verna Hailey in Garrison, N.D., he spent 23 years in the U.S. Navy, retiring as a chief petty officer. He then worked in the food department at Monroe State Prison for 20 years. He married Jeanne Robbins on May 1, 1966. After his second retirement, he and his wife built a home on Lummi Island and moved there in 1989. A member of Lynnwood Masonic Lodge and the Navy Fleet Reserve, he enjoyed fishing, hunting and RV traveling. Survivors include his wife of the family home; daughters Sharon Gibson of Tracy, Calif., Lavonn Baird of Fallon, Nev., Carolynn Hailey of Pt. Hueneme, Calif., Annette Eller of Santa Barbara, Calif., and Earlene Cortez of Ventura, Calif.; his mother, Verna Feathers of Clearlake, Calif.; brothers Art Hailey of Sumner and Curtis Hailey of Texas; eight grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews. HAINES, Chester Lemont, 65, of 1200 Birchwood Ave., died Saturday, Jan. 18, 1992, in Bellingham. Mr. Haines was born Aug. 5, 1926, in Durango, Colo., to Chester C. and Helen F. Haines. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II and had lived in Bellingham for the past two years since moving from Colorado. No local services are planned. Services and burial are scheduled in Grand Junction, Colo. Mr. Haines was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Bobby Gene Haines. Survivors include his son, Craig Haines, and his daughters, Lynnette Mitchell and Lannelle Bishop Jr., all of Grand Junction; his sister, Winonah Woodell of Bellingham, his stepmother, Florence Haines, two stepbrothers and a stepsister, all of Colorado; three grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews and friends at Bellingham Care Center.

HAINES, Douglas Archibald Theodore "Q.C." late of Abbotsford, B.C., passed away on May 2, 1984, age 75 years at M.S.A. Hospital, Abbotsford. He is survived by his loving wife, Dr. Florence L. Nichols; 1 brother, Honorable Mr. Justice Edson Haines of Totonto; 1 sister, Mrs. Edwin (Margaret) Janack of Stoney Creek, Ontario. Mr. Haines was a member of International Academy of Trial Lawyers. For several years and until his health failed, was involved in counseling in the Regional Psychiatric Center (Pacific), Abbotsford. Mr. Haines was a Trial Lawyer in Toronto for 32 years with the firm Haines, Thompson, Rogers. Remains are being forwarded to York Chapel of Turner and Porter Funeral Home of Toronto for services. Burial to take place at Park Lawn Cemetery, Toronto. Woodlawn Henderson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

HAINES, John Stirling, age 80, of 4700 E. Oregon, Bellingham, passed away Tues. Aug. 28, 1990. Born June 12, 1910 in Boston, MA, he married Marjorie L. Dralle on November 10, 1945 in Vancouver, WA, moving to Bellingham in 1946. Founded Haines Tree and Spray Inc. in early 1950's; past president and active in the International Pesticide Applicators Assoc.; enjoyed photography, travel; active and Charter Member of Faith Lutheran Church, where he sand in the choir. Survived by his wife Marjorie; 5 children, John S. and wife Ruth Haines, Jr. of Dickerson, MD, Dorcas P and husband Robert Toombs of LaConner, WA, Walden R. and wife Linda Haines of Bellingham, Constance Haines Blake of Sausilito, CA, Teresa and husband Robert Gessell of Bellingham; 8 grandchildren; sister, Elinor H. Ward of Needham, MA; numerous nieces & nephews. Memorial service Fri. Aug. 31, 1 p.m. at Faith Lutheran Church with R. L. Christensen, Pastor, Faith Lutheran Church officiating. Cremation. Visitation hours Thurs. Aug. 30, 8:30 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. and Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 12 noon at Jones Funeral Home.

HAINES, Nancy A., age 33, who resided at 412 Parkridge Rd., passed away in a local hospital Tues., May 18, (1976). Mr. Haines was a former school teacher for 7 years. She had been a resident of Bellingham for the past 3 years and was a member of the Newcomers Club. She leaves to survive her husband, Martin L. and one son, Ryan both of the family home; two brothers, Bud Gildenhaus of Idaho and Jerry of Bellevue. Funeral services were held Friday, May 21 at 2 p.m. in the Urn Garden at Bay View Cemetery with the Rev. C. Thomas Lane, officiating, under the direction of Bingham & Jerns Funeral Home.

HAINES, infant twins, a boy & girl, passed away., Wed., April 21, (1976). Surviving are the parents, Mr. and Mrs. Marty L. Haines of Parkridge Rd., Bellingham. Family services will be held under the direction of the Bingham & Jerns Funeral Home.
