A Lowell and Rucker avenue trolley car snuffed out the life of George J. Eaden,
a resident of Lowell, early last night, for the unfortunate man succumbed to his
injuries at the Everett hospital shortly after the accident. According to a
statement made by Mortorman Charles A. Fells, he was driving his car at the rate
of about ten miles an hour along Third avenue, Lowell. The stretch of street was
dark and he was almost upon the figure of a man sitting on the rail before he
realized it. Reserved power failed to save Eaden who was knocked in the head.

George Eaden was a working man 65 years old. He leaves a wife and four children,
who live in Lowell. Eaden is said to have been at times a victim of fatigue,
and he was suffering from one of his attacks at the time of his death. Fells is
known by the company as a careful moterman. Burial will be at Evergreen Cemetery.

George English, an old time resident of Snohomish died last night at his home near
Marysville where he has resided for about 3 years. Mr. English was hurt about a year
ago while digging a well. He was in the bottom of the well when his son lowered a
timber, which swung against his head flattening it against the curbing of the well.
He was laid up for some time, but for about ten months was able to be about. The
concussion on the brain however, caused his mind to be effected, and one month ago
he was operated on at the Snohomish General hospital but without obtaining relief.
He was taken home a week ago, but death ended his trouble. Mr. English was one of the
most likeable men who ever resided here,, and practically every man who knew him
