	Genevieve I. Jablinske, 49, of 4925 185th Place SW, Lynnwood, died Sept. 1 in 
Edmonds.  She was a clerk for K-Mart.

	She is survived by her husband, Adolph, of Lynnwood;  son, Gary, of Everett; four 
daughters, Mrs. Daniel Mann and Mrs. Leslie Nagel, both of Lynnwood, Mrs. Larry 
Schwalenberg of Wisconsin, and Mrs. Clifford Nagel of Bothell;  Two brothers, Daniel 
Adams of Minnesota and Edward Adams, Sr., of North Dakota;  one sister, Mrs. Bernard 
Gese of Spokane;  her mother, Mrs. Marie Huard; and nine grandchildren.

	She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Lynnwood.

	Services will be Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. at the Trinity Lutheran Church, Lynnwood.  
Arrangements by the Baker Funeral Home, Edmonds.  Interment at Restlawn Memorial 
Gardens, Edmonds.

	Memorials may be made to the Heart Fund.

   Joseph L. JENKINS, died after receiving injuries caused by a fall upon the 
pavement in front of the Bayview hotel last evening.  He was removed to Providence 
hospital where he passed away at 11:45 p. m.  He was about 47 years old, coming here 
four years ago from Grinnell, Iowa.  He was a member of I.O.O.F lodge No. 187, also 
of Royal Purple No. 45, Plymouth Rebecca, and Loyal Order of the Moose. No. 248, all 
of this city.  For some time he had been employed by the Robinson Manufacturing 
company.  A telegram from his father this morning stated that the latter had started 
for Everett.  Funeral arrangements have not been completed.  The body is at Maulsby 
undertaking chapel.

   Funeral services for the late Joseph L. JENKINS will be held tomorrow evening at 
7:30, at Maulsby's chapel, corner Wall and Wetmore, Rev. W. S. RANDALL officiating.  
The father of the deceased is expected to arrive from Grinnell, Iowa, this afternoon,
to take charge of the body.

Valley Pioneer Dies Friday

Funeral services for Christian Lauretz Jensen, 79, who died Friday following an 
extended illness, were held Tuesday at 1 p.m. in the Congregational Church, Monroe, 
with the Rev. George Koper officiating.

Born near Copenhagen, Denmark, February 6, 1878, Mr. Jenson came to the U. S. in 
1902.  After living in Seattle and Alaska, he moved to Snoqualmie Valley in 1911.

Mr. Jensen rented large farms in the Snoqualmie, Snonomish and Skykomish Valleys, and
was very actively engaged in dairy farming.  In 1937 he bought the Cherry Valley 
Stock Farm on the West Snoqualmie Road.  He sold the farm when he retired in 1949. 

Mr. Jensen was also active in the business side of farming, being the director of the
Seattle Milk Shipping association in 1928.  He was active in the work of the Tualco 
Grange and in the Eatles Auxiliary, and was a 52 year member of the Danish 
Brotherhood, Seattle.

Survivors include one son, Mark Jensen, Monroe; two daughters, Mrs. Margaret Key, 
Seattle, and Mrs. Maude Sanford, Edmonds, and nine grandchildren.

Cremation followed the services at the View Crest Abbey, Everett, under the direction
of Purdy and Kerr.

   The funeral of Jacob JENSON will be held tomorrow afternoon at 2'oclock from 
Challacombe's chapel.  Rev. A. SAMUELSON will officiate.  Internment will be in 
Evergreen cemetery.

James Johnson passed away at the home of Emel Johnson, Monroe, Friday morning after a 
brief illness.  He was 31 years old and came to this country from Sweden four years 
ago.  He was very active in the woods and made his home in and near Monroe.  He was a
member of the Vasa Lodge, No. 415, Monroe.

Surviving him are his parents in Sweden, a sister, Miss Helma Johnson of Vancouver, 
B.C., and three brothers, Otto, Ole and Kjell in Sweden.  Funeral services were held 
at the Grange hall under the direction of Vasa Order, Monday at 2 o'clock, Rev. Henry
Lundberg officiating.  Mrs. E. A. Ohman rendered the instrumental music; Mrs. 
Vicklan and Mrs. John Olson gave vocal selections.  Home Funeral parlors in charge.

The funeral of Silas Jones, the colored man who died in this city at the home of 
William Shaffroth, Friday, was held there Sunday at 2 o'clock and was conducted by 
Rev. Clemens and Rev. Kidd, Colored ministers from Everett. The A.M.E. choir and many 
colored people came up from Everett to attend, a fact that was highly appreciated by 
Mr. Shafforth and friends. Interment was in G.A.R. cemetery. Silas Jones came here 
two weeks ago from Seattle, hoping that a change might improve his health, but he 
steadily failed. He was a sailor being well known on many of the Alaska boats. He 
leaves one son 22 years old whose whereabouts are unknown, it being thought he is in 
the Pullman service.
