Harold LaDuke---PAVEY / JOSKBO / ADAMS / WITHEY---November 18, 2003

My grandmother came to Pacific County from Missouri about 1901 with her husband WILLIAM PAVEY (PAVY) and their two children.  I picked up their wedding date of 1885 in Missouri where their names were spelled PAVEY and JOSKBO.  Other family records have the spelling Pavy and Josko.  ALSO, family records would indicate they were CATHOLIC so divorce would or could have been a difficult issue consuming time and the ability to pull the right strings.

At unknown time, William abandoned Anna and the children.

I have picked them both up in the 1900 census when she was in South Bend and shown as wdw; and he was in Tacoma showing no marriage or dependents.  It appears to be the correct Pavy (PAVEY) as he was later in the paper and picked up in the 1910 census married to an 18 year old girl known to the family in Lebam.  (At the same trade in 1900 and 1910, etc.).

Do you have anything during that 9 year blackout so far as my records are concerned.  I will appreciate your sharing, if it is available.

My grandmother Anna married John Adams (widower) in South Bend early in 1902 though it appears they were together prior to the wedding.

My aunt MYRTLE ADAMS married Harry Withey and I picked them up on the 1920 census when they lived in Frances, Pacific County.

Do you have anything of Harry Withey between 1900 and 1902.

Lauri Allred---PALMROTH---May 1, 2003
I am searching for information or stories about my grandmother, Maria Sofia Heikkila Palmroth. I have her dates and parents, but I want to know something about her. She lived for 45 years in Raymond and worked at the hospital between Raymond and South Bend. I don't know what she did there, but I was told she was a hard worker and that she walked to work and back. She was divorced from my grandfather, Carl Emil Palmroth. She died in 1958 in Taylor Nursing Home in Raymond. I am also wanting stories or information about my father, Lawrence Anton Palmroth who lived in Raymond all his life. Thank you.ALLREDHOMES@cox.net

Kari Kandoll---AMUNDSEN / CONKEL / CLAESSON---February 2, 2003
Hello, My name is Kari Teeter Kandoll and my husband's family had a family member Abigail Amundsen married two men who lived in Frankfort, WA. She married Frank Conkel a Astoria Policeman in December 26, 1899. When he retired from the police force he built a house in Frankfort where he fished the Columbia River. This would be after 1920 but before 1926 when he died. She then married resident Hugo Jacob Ansheim Claesson August 30, 1927 and they lived there until she died July 30, 1950 and he died January 23, 1964. Hugo was also a Columbia River fisherman who taught my father-in-law Ernest Kandoll how to fish on the river. I am interested in knowing if there is a list of residents who lived in Frankfort? kando@centurytel.net
