Faulkner (column 5) Herbert Henry "Bert" Faulkner was born on June 24, 1877 to Albertine Adelia [Gruhlke] and George Lewis Faulkner in Waterville, Minnesota. The Faulkner family came west to Klickitat County when Bert was five years old, settling to the Dot area. He was married to Della [Zumwalt] on June 2, 1909 in Cleveland, WA, where they had three children, including Verona, Ronald and Delbert. His occupation was ranching and stock raising. Bert passed away July 17, 1948 in the Goldendale hospital. He is buried on 11th Street in Lot 7. Faxon, Daniel Oliver	12-04-1897 10-03-1925	Obituary. Daniel was born Dan Oliver Payne. (His birth father was listed as C. H. Payne.) Daniel was adopted by Lizzie [Sherman] and Elnathan S. Faxon on July 19, 1905 in Columbia, County, Oregon and his last name changed to Faxon. On 06-23-1921 Daniel married Emmajane Cobb in Vancouver, Clark County, WA. Tragically, on 10-02-1925, Daniel was loading logs for the J. Neils Lumber Co. when an accident occurred where he was struck in the head by a piece of equipment, causing a skull fracture. Daniel died the following day of his injuries.
