It states that Nannie's parents were Lewis and Ann Maria Vanlandingham. Trying to clarify, this worker conducted a search on Several family trees cite Nancy's birth mother was Ann Maria Vanlandingham and her father was Lewis N. Snell. In the 1850 census Nancy A was living with Lewis and Ann M. Snell and siblings Sarah (age 10) and Mary (age 3). The 1860 census again shows a Nannie A. Snell living with her parents Lewis and Ann M. Snell, along with siblings Mary (13), Joel (8), Ann (5) and James (3). The 1870 census shows a James T. Snell living in Monroe County, Missouri along with John A. Eddings and Elizabeth Eddings. (Therefore, any researcher should take the information as an opportunity to further explore Nannie's ancestry as opposed to accepting the information as fact.)   Sources utilized: Nannie & John's obituaries; Columbia Hills Memorial Chapel Funeral Records; Findagrave Memorial; 1850, 1860, 1870, 1880, 1900, 1910 & 1920 US Censuses; WA Digital State Archives (Benton, Franklin & Klickitat Counties Directory 1913 & 1915-1916 editions; 1889 Klickitat County Census; WA Death Records)]
