She was a member of the First Christian Church. Her husband, Harry O. Witt, survives.

William S. Walker Passes
William S. Walker died Wednesday morning, March 8, from pneumonia at Our Lady of the Lourdes hospital in Pasco. He was born at Warren, Penn., March 29, 1859, and had spent his life as railroad telegrapher.
He has resided at Kennewick since January 23, 1917 and previous to that date at Kahlotus and Washtuckna. He stated to friends that he had no living relatives. He leaves to mourn his loss many friends, as he was a generous, honest nature, and a great lover of children. Funeral services will be held from the chapel Friday afternoon, April 10, at 4:15. Rev. F. N. Morton will have charge of the services.

Victor D. Wright, 80, Opal Street, died in his home Thursday.
He was born in Yakima and later moved to Grandview.
He attended the Lutheran Church.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Wright, Grandview; son, Leroy Kalmback, Seattle; daughter, Carol McGregor, Kent; five grandchildren; two sisters; and three brothers.
Services will be announced later by Smith Funeral Home, Grandview.

Earl I. Wetherell, 76, died at 137 S. Almira St., Connell, Wednesday.
He was born in Neosho, Mo., Aug. 24, 1893 and had been a resident of Connell community for the past 35 years.
He was a retired state highway department employe and was a member of the Nazarene Church of Connell.
Survivor’s include his wife, Louise Wetherell, at home; one son, Edward O. Wetherell, Connell; one daughter, Mrs. Pauline Tombary, Boise, Ida., one sister, Mrs. Gladys Shannon, Connell, and four grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at the Connell Nazarene Church, Sunday, at 2 p.m. with Rev. Mink of the Nazarene Church officiating. Cremation will follow.
Bruce Lee Memorial Chapel is in charge of arrangements.

Edward Ottis Wetherell, 46, of 2315 W. Pearl St., Pasco, died yesterday at his home.
He was born Oct. 22, 1922 in Leavenworth, and has lived in Pasco for 44 years. He was a charter member of the 82nd Airborne Division Association, was a member of American Legion Post 195, Connell, coached Pony League baseball, a member of the Electrical Workers Union Local 112 and an honorary member of Boy’s Town.
Survivors include his wife, Barbara; daughter, Patricia; sons, Raymond and Dennis; mother, Louise Wetherell, Connell; sister, Mrs. John (Pauline) Tompary, Boise.

Duane Lester Wilson, 48, an iron worker for Holman Erection Co. at Ice Harbor Dam, died early Sunday morning at his home at 219 W Clark St., Pasco.
Mr Wilson was born in Jennings, Kan., Oct. 25, 1909, and lived in Pasco since June. He was a member of the Church of God of Prophecy and belonged to Pasco Iron Workers Local 14.
Survivors include his wife Catherine in the home; two sons, Lester D Wilson, US Air Force, Japan, and Buster Wilson, Grand Coulee; two daughters, Mrs Mearle Lou Andrews, Nespelem, and Faye Joane Wilson of Almira; one step daughter Mary Margaret Spink, Lakeland Village; two stepsons, Ralph Spink, Cashmere, and Donald Lippert, Grand Coulee; one sister, Mrs Margaret Sloane, Weston, Ore.: one brother, Robert Wilson, Kansas; one granddaughter and several nephews and nieces.

Jasper Tate Warren
Sweet baby boy of Seth and Kirstie Calkins, Warren was born on September 7, 2004. Though his short life was full of struggles, he brought joy to all who crossed his path. We will always remember his first smile, his first laugh, his expressiveness and his loving graze. Our lives are changed forever and our little guardian angel will be in our hearts eternally. Loving fam9ily includes grandparents Beth Calkins, Robert Warren and Marie McAloon; aunts and uncles Jeremy (Melissa) Calkins and Sarah (Michael) Day, and many caring relatives.

Norman E “Norm” Wolfe, 68, of Pasco, died December 20, 1992 at Hillcrest Convalescent Center in Pasco after a long illness.
He was born October 26, 1924 in Max, Nebraska and lived in Pasco for 21 years. Norm joined Worthington Pump corporation in 1951 after receiving his engineering degree at Washington State University.
He was sales engineer until retiring on disability in July of 1985. He served his country in the army during World War II in the Philippines with Battery A 165th F A Battalion and received decorations including the Bronze Star.
Norm married Betsy Hansen December 26, 1971 in Seattle, and was a loving step-dad to Barbara and Bret Hansen.
He is also survived by sister, Dorothy (Lloyd) Benedict of Tacoma; brothers Bill (June) Wolfe of Cheweleh, Lyle (Dorothy) Wolfe of Columbus, Nebraska, Clarence (Lynn) Wolfe of Pampa, Texas; numerous nieces and nephew, including Sandra Woodrome (C.Y.) of Pasco. He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Ruby (Ulferts) Wolfe.
He was a past member of the Lake City and Pasco Elks, was an avid hunter and fisherman and enjoyed woodworking.
In lieu of flowers and services, the family is asking Norm’s friends and family to write to share a special memory of Norm to be compiled in a memory book.

Weetman, Edythe J. (age 80) passed away December 11, 2004. She was born November 30, 1924, in Priest River, ID, the daughter of George and Isolina Naccarato. She graduated from Sacred Heart Nursing School in 1945. She met her husband Richard in Spokane and they were married February 1950. they moved to the TriCities in 1952 where they made their home in Richland for 30 years before retirement. She worked as a Pediatric Nurse and was loved by all children.
Edythe is survived by her daughter, Kathleen Carlson and son-in-law John of Spokane; son John Weetman and daughter-in-law Naomi of Palmer, AK; sister Georgie and Mac MacDonald of Arizona; five grandchildren; Jennifer Peterson, Heather Carlson, Sara Carlson Brueher, Jesse Weetman and Michael Weetman; and three great-granddaughters; Kortni Peterson, Abby Peterson and Alyssa Brueher; three nephews; Thomas and Stephen Rowse of Spokane, Robert Rose of Seattle; some very special great-nieces and nephew; and two great-great-nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 43 years, Richard Weetman in 1993, and her son, George Richard (Ricky) Weetman in 1995.
Visitation will begin at noon, Thursday, December 16 at the funeral home with a Vigil Service to begin at 5:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, December 17, at 11 a.m. at St Aloysius Catholic Church, 330 E Boone. Committal service will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, 7200 N Wall.

Sunnyside—Henry Weinbender, 65, a longtime Sunnyside resident, died Tuesday in the Mount Adams Care Center, Goldendale.
He was born in Fort Morgan, Colo. He spent his early years and received his education in Colorado, Nebraska, and Montana.
He married Clara Johnson on March 31, 1941 at Sidney, Mont. Following their marriage they farmed in Montana and Colorado. They moved to Sunnyside in 1946 where he farmed and worked at the Hanford project and McNary and Ice Harbor dams.
Weinbender was a member of the fraternal order of Eagles for 30 years.
Survivors include his wife, Clara, Goldendale; son Henry C Weinbender, Prosser; daughters Irene Roth, Zillah, Betty Visser, Sunnyside, Gloria Wintersten, Kirkland, and Mary Murray, Grandview; 13 grandchildren; three great grandchildren, a nephew and three nieces.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, George Weinbender and Alex Hoffman.
Funeral services are at 3 pm Friday at the Chapel of the Smith Funeral Home, Sunnyside. Burial will be at the Lower Valley memorial Gardens, Sunnyside.
