Wahkiakum Eagle-February 1997 WOLVERTON, Rose Mary Age 72, a resident of Sweet Home, Ore, died there. She was born in Lander, Wyo., the daughter of William D. and Elizabeth Pettis Kinnison. She moved to Cathlamet as a young girl and spent the rest of her youth there. She graduated from Wahkiakum High School in 1943. She married Morris W. 'Bud' Wolverton on October 15, 1949 in Cathlamet. He preceded her in death on January 28, 1993. She finished raising her sister's children (nieces, Helen Keyser and Beulah Frank and a nephew Jack Loberg). She worked as an office manager for several companies including Longview Fibre Corp. in the Receiving Department; as payroll secretary for the Beall Pipe & Tank Corp. in Portland. She worked at Sweet Home Veneer for four years, at Tomco Inc. from 1972 until 1978. From 1979 until 1986 she worked for Louis Hill at Pacific Rim Equipment Corporation in Sweet Home. She has lived in Sweet Home for over 30 years. She was a member of the Sweet Home First Baptist Church, Lebanon V.F.W. Auxiliary, Sweet Home American legion Auxiliary and the Riverview Rebekah's Lodge in Cathlamet. She loved to read and being with her family. She was always one to help someone in need. She is survived by her sister, Nellie Sears of Portland; nieces, Helen Keyser of Cathlamet and Beulah Frank of Aurora, Ore., and many other nieces and nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by a sister, Helen Loberg; brothers, Johnnie, Richard and Clinton Kinnison. Services were Monday in the First Baptist Church in Sweet Home with Pastor Butch Adcock officiating. The Workman & Steckly Funeral Chapel was in charge.
