Yakima Herald Republic-Yakima, Washington, February 28, 1979 Obituary: Marjorie Lucy Wickersham, 69, of Rt. 2, Box 487, died Monday in the Yakima Valley Memorial Hospital. She was born Dec. 16, 1909, in Malac (sic), Minn. She moved to Battle Ground with her parents, William and Mary Wallace, as a young girl and received her education there. She graduated from Battleground High School. She married Floyd E. Wickersham on Oct. 22, 1934 in Skamokawa. They lived in Battleground from 1946 until 1976, when they moved to Yakima. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Battleground. She is survived by her husband, Floyd E. Wickersham, of Yakima; two sons, Edward Wickersham and Allen Wickersham, both of Vancouver, Wash.; two daughters, Mrs. James (DiAnne) Conrad of Yakima and Mrs. Karolle Lindsay of Alameda, Calif.; six grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Merle (Verna) Downing of Saratoga, Calif., and Mrs. Ernie (Grace) Munson of Fairfax, Calif.; and several nieces and nephews.
