Wahkiakum Eagle-November 1999

WHIPPLE, W. Eva  

  Age 75, died in Longview.  She was born in Roswell, N.M., the 
daughter of Frank and Susan Cunddiff Pattrick.  She graduated from 
Roswell High school in 1942.  She was married to Robert Whipple on 
November 14, 1944 and they lived for several years in Eastern Oklahoma 
and Northern California.
  In 1976 they retired to Seattle where they cared for the estate of 
the John McCones.  In 1985 they moved to Ryderwood, in 1990 to Castle 
Rock and in 1999 to Cathlamet.
  She managed a nursery for many years and enjoyed fishing, bowling and 
collecting rocks and driftwood.
  She is survived by her husband at home; and several nieces and 
nephews.
  There were no services as per her request.
  Dowling Funeral Home was in charge.
