Wahkiakum County Eagle-October 1996 LeRoy Neil Wheeldon Age 60, of Castle Rock, died at the Hospice Care Center. He was born in Spearfish, S. D., to Arthur LeRoy and Kathryn (Lease) Wheeldon. He lived in Longview from 1950 to 1973, when he moved to Grays River, and came to Castle Rock about 1983. He was a logger and drove a log truck for many years. He owned the Three L Logging County. Survivors include his wife, Joan, at home; five sons, LeRoy Jr. of Castle Rock, Leon of Kelso, Mike of California, Craig of Longview and Lonnie of Kelso; four daughters, Diane Maddux in Mississippi, and Carla Schemenauer, Arthea Rogers and Annette Ubl, all of Kelso; a brother, Les Wheeldon of Portland; 29 grandchildren; and five great- grandchildren. Services were held Friday at the Longview-Kelso Seventh-day Adventist Church with Pastor Dave Livermore officiating. McVicker's Chapel on the Hill was in charge.
