Columbia River Sun-April 18, 1912-Cathlamet, WA As in the nation at large, the marine disaster in the Atlantic ocean Sunday night has affected all of the citizens of Cathlamet, and in two homes deep sorrow and gloom prevails. Frank M. Warren, who is reported as missing amongst the survivors of the wrecked Titanic, is the uncle of Chas. H. Warren and Mrs. Nellie G. White. The local cannery was owned by him. As a loving relative and a spirited, upright and square dealing employer, his passing creates profound regret. That he bade farewell to a loving wife and gallantly laid down his life for women and children passengers is the opinion of those who know the fine characteristics and decisive action of the upright canneryman. Frank M. Warren died April 14, 1912 in the sinking of the Titanic.
