Wahkiakum Eagle-April 2000 WALLACE, Eunice W. A Skamokawa resident, died in Longview. She was born in Washington, N.C., the daughter of Lewis and Nora Carlisle Thompson. She graduated from high school in Washington. She married Lawrence H. Wallace and they lived in Amboy for several years before moving to Skamokawa in 1955. She enjoyed volunteering her time and was very active in the United Methodist church of Skamokawa. She was a member of the Mentor club, the Skamokawa Christian guild and the United Methodist Women. Survivors include two daughters, Eunice 'Junie' Blomgren of Clark Fork, Ida., and Nancy Fletcher of Athena, Ore.; a sister, Mary Prentiss of Virginia Beach, Va.; three grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Her husband, Lawrence, died in 1973. Funeral services were Monday from the Skamokawa Methodist church with Dr. Robert Corlett officiating. Dowling Funeral Home was in charge. Eunice W.
