VETERAN OF CIVIL
	WAR PASSES AWAY

SKAMOKAWA, Feb. 2---Levi Vinson, G. A. R. veteran, passed away at his 
home in Sleepy Hollow Wednesday.   Mr. Vinson was born in Nova Scotia 
91 years ago and for the past 40 years had made Skamokawa his home.
   His widow and several children survive him.   The children are James 
C. Vinson of Grants Pass, Ore; John C Vinson, Rupert, Ida.; Mrs. Anna 
Peters and Mrs. Sadie Gardner of Minnesota; Mrs. Dan Hepbern of 
Portland; Mrs. Mary Jewel? of Kamaih, Idaho; George and Henry Vinson of 
Skamokawa.
   Funeral services will be held at the Community church on Sunday at 1 
o’clock.
