The Daily News-February 1992 TRACY, Dale E. Age 65, died at home on Puget Island. He was born in Goble, Ore. to Harold and Ada Tracy. He was a resident of Cathlamet for 55 years. He attended school in Cathlamet before joining the Navy. In 1954, he married Dorothy, who survives him at home. He spent most of his working life as a logger for Crown Zellerbach. In later years he worked for J&M Sorting, retiring in 1988. He loved hunting, fishing and clam digging. He also enjoyed dancing and was a member of the Ocean Park Eagles. In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, Jeff and Jerry Tracy of Cathlamet; his mother-in-law, Reva Sorsen of Cathlamet; one granddaughter and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother, Ada, and his sister, Ethel Jacobsen, of Cathlamet in 1990. His father, Harold, died in 1969. Private family services were held in Rainier.
