TOVER, Oscar Godfred
	
Age 58, Rt. 1, Cathlamet, died in a Portland hospital.  He was 
born in Astoria, he had lived in the Cathlamet area for 57 years, 
was a commercial fisherman and farmer and a member of Our 
Saviour's Lutheran Church.

Survivors include the widow, Esther of Cathlamet; two sons, 
Alfred and Vernon of Cathlamet; one daughter, Amanda Becker of 
Longview; six grandchildren; one brother, Erling of Allentown, 
Pa.; two sisters, Nellie Mathisen of Duluth, Minn., Berniece 
Ellisen of Seattle.
	  
Services were Saturday at Our Saviour's Lutheran Church on Puget 
Island, with Rev. Ph. Mueller officiating.  Dowling Funeral Home 
was in charge.
