The Daily News-March 1963 Longview, Wash. TOVER, Axel Berg Tover--Axel Berg, 82, Puget Island, died March 17 at home. He was born in Tover, Norway. Mr. Tover came to the United States in 1901 and moved from Astoria to Puget Island in 1913. He was a commercial fisherman and a farmer. He was a charter member of Our Saviour's Lutheran Church, Puget Island, and a member of the Scandinavian Benevolent Lodge, Astoria. He leaves his wife, Dina Johanna, Puget Island; two daughters, Mrs. Bjorg Sjogren, Puget Island; and Mrs. Olaug Willhite, Portland; one brother, Trygve Tover, Cathlamet; four sisters, Mrs. Annie Johnson, Dockton; Mrs. Olea Pedersen, Seattle; and Dagmar Hongseth and Mrs. Engeborg Olsen, both in Norway; five grandchildren; and four great- grandchildren. The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Thursday in Our Saviour's Lutheran Church, Puget Island. The Rev. Edwin Peterson will officiate. Interment will be in the Greenwood Cemetery in Astoria.
