The Daily News-January 1967 Edward H. Siepelt Age 54, of Ilwaco, died in an Ilwaco hospital. He was born in Kilkenny, Minn., and had been a resident of the Long Beach-Naselle area since 1938. He was employed as a logger most of the time. He was a charter member of Elks Lodge 1937 and Local 311, AFL-CIO. Survivors include the widow, Frances of Naselle; one step-daughter, Junia Penttila of Naselle; his mother, Mary Schultz of Park Rapids, Minn.; one sister, Mrs. Emil Taskey of Park Rapids, Minn.; and two grandchildren. Services were held Monday at Penttila's Chapel by the Sea under the direction of the Elks Lodge. Penttila's Chapel by the Sea, Long Beach, was in charge.
