Wahkiakum Co. Eagle-January 1997 SHULEY, Rosella A. Age 80, died at a Cathlamet nursing home. She was born in Souria, N. D., the daughter of Asle and Nora (Kivle) Brunsvold. She came to Cathlamet in 1937 and married Victor Shuley. They lived at Family Camp until 1945, when they moved into town. She was a homemaker who enjoyed baking and keeping her home looking nice. She and her husband enjoyed traveling and visiting. She was very active in school related events while her children were growing up. She was a member of the First Free Church on Puget Island. Her husband preceded her in death in January 1996 after 58 years of marriage. She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Sylvia and Brad Luton, of Vashon Island; a son and daughter-in-law, Ronald and Judy Shuley of Southgate, Ky.; a brother, Stan Brunsvold of Edmonds; two sisters, Inez Midhoe of Hoople, S. D., and Mildred Lucht of Grand Forks, N. D.; seven grandchildren; four great-grand-children; and numerous nieces and nephews. A celebration of life service was held in Puget Island Monday, with Pastor David Gerlach officiating. Dowling Funeral Home was in charge. Rosella A.
