The Eagle-Thursday, March 15, 1945 Mrs. John Ronning Taken by Pneumonia Mrs. Tina Johanna Ronning, 74, died Thursday, March 8, at the Cowlitz General hospital in Longview, of pneumonia. She had been in ill health for about a year but her condition only became critical a few days before her passing. She was born August 29, 1870, in Chippewa county, Minnesota, and first came to Cathlamet in 1907. After returning to Minnesota in 1913, she returned to Cathlamet again in 1927. Survivors include the widower, John Peter; four sons, Harold and Lawrence of Cathlamet, Henry of Montevideo, Minn., and George of Boyd, Minn., and one brother John Jacobson of Montevideo, Minn. Funeral services were conducted Saturday evening in the Hatton funeral chapel with Rev. W. W. Head officiating. The body has been taken to Montevideo, Minnesota, for interment.
