The Wahkiakum Eagle combined with the Columbia River Sun-Thursday, August 23, 1945 PULLIAM, Sarah Dora ALTOONA RESIDENT DIES SATURDAY Mrs. Sarah Dora Pulliam, 80, for 53 years a resident of Altoona, died Saturday, August 18, in an Astoria hospital, and was laid to rest beside her husband in Greenwood cemetery, Cathlamet, Tuesday, August 21. Mrs. Pulliam was born in Paxton, Ill., November 26, 1865, and came to the Northwest at an early age. Suviving relatives are one son, Harold J. Pulliam of Altoona; five daughters, Mrs. Florence Peterson, Portland; Mrs. Glen A. Bushee, Oswego, Ore,; Mrs. James McGowan, Hayward, Califo.; Mrs. R. M. Boeckel, Kingsville, Texas; Mrs. Pearl LaFrance, San Pedro, Calif. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. W. W. Head. Funeral arrangements were in charge of Hatton Funeral Home, Cathlamet.
