The Wahkiakum County Ealge-October 11, 2007 Eva Kyes-Perrault Eva Cora Marie Kyes-Perrault was handed to the arms of her Lord on October 9, 2007. She was born in Madison, Wis. on January 26, 1947. She joins our sister Faun M. Kyes-Wood who preceded her in 1995. She leaves behind her husband Gary Perrault of Yakima, one daughter, Gabrielle Val of Bly, Ore., two sisters Lela C. Kyes-Woods of Arlington and Dixie G. Kyes-Hancock of Longview. Many cousins, nieces and nephews and she loved them all. She adored her daughter and raised Faun's youngest son after her passing. She loved her little dog Muffin, our family genealogy, growing plants, she was an amazing artist and enjoyed dancing. She graduated in 1965 from Wahkiakum High School in Cathlamet and from Bernard's Beauty School in Longview. I would like to thank Joy Bennett of Seattle and Kathy Marr of Yakima. Joy - she loved you so and always remembered the years you shared. Kathy - the godmother to Eva's daughter. She knows you will do a great job. Thank you both. The times we had to share, laugh, cry, inform and pray - those are weeks I will cherish forever. She was a lot more than any sister could ask for in a big sister, she was my mother, sister and my dearest best friend and I will be forever thankful for her being in my life. A wonderful sister. A special friend. That's what you've been to me... so much a part of lovely times I keep in memory. I will forever love you. You will be greatly missed, your little sister - Dixie G. Kyes Hancock. A funeral will be held on October 12 at Longawine Funeral Home in Yakima at 2 p.m. Eva Cora Marie (Kyes) Perrault Unknown Yakima Burial 26 January 1947-9 October 2007 (As compiled by the Wahkiakum County Historical Society 2007.)
