Unknown Newspaper Fred Oman Was buried Monday afternoon in Naselle with the funeral service held in the Long Beach Community church. He died at his home in Long Beach at the age of 69. He was born in Astoria and received his education in Naselle. He married his surviving wife, Grace Mannikko, in Coos Bay, January 30, 1915. The couple established their home in Naselle where he operated the Ocean Beach Transfer Company for 10 years, and since that time he and his son operated the Oman and Son Retail lumber yard at Long Beach. He was a 25-year member of Redmen lodge 113, of Long Beach, and also a member of the BPOE No. 1937, Long Beach. Survivors besides his wife, are son, Archie, St. Louis, Mo., sons, Ollie and Roy, Long Beach; a brother, Heinie Oman of South Bend; and a brother, Frank, of Portland; sisters, Mrs. Severi Wiitala of Naselle, Mrs.. Bessie Anderson of Naselle, Mrs. Winifred Hall of South Bend, and Mrs. Ida McDougal of Aberdeen. Also survived by 11 grandchildren. Peaceful Hills Cemetery-Naselle, Wa. 24 May 1889-05 Dec 1958
