Wahkiakum County Eagle-October 11, 1973-Page 6 PEARL M. OLSON Pearl M. Olson, 65, Naselle, died October 5, in an Ilwaco hospital. She was born April 14, 1908 in Naselle and had owned and operated the Hunters Inn in Naselle and the Chinook taverns in Chinook until her retirement. She was a member of the Ladies of the Elks of Longview and the DAV auxiliary. Survivors include three sons, Norman of Dallas, Texas, Frank of Cathlamet and Curtis of Lancaster, Calif.; two brothers, Edwin Owens of Phoenix and Oroville Owens of Everett; three sisters, Mrs. Irene Ward and Mrs. Ione Nielson, both of Portland, and Mrs. Ethel Calhoun of Goble, Ore.; and nine grandchildren. Services were held Tuesday in the Skamokawa Methodist church with Rev. Everett Groves officiating. Interment was in Fern Hill cemetery with Penttila’s Chapel by the Sea in charge. Pearl M.
