Wahkiakum County Eagle-July 1996 Martin Benjamin Macy Age 53, died at his Naselle residence of cancer. He was born in Cathlamet, the son of Benjamin and Lorraine (Peterson) Macy. The family later moved to Nemah and he was a 1961 graduate of Naselle high school. He was a life-long resident of Pacific county. He and Jackie Fuller were married May 11, 1962 and she survives. A commercial fisherman, he enjoyed hunting and fishing and spending time with his family and friends. Besides a wife of 34 years, he is survived by his mother, Lorraine Macy of Chinook; daughters and sons-in-law Tracee and Randy Riekkola of Aberdeen and Melinda and Kevin McNulty of Chinook; son and daughter-in- law Brian and Wendy Macy of Westport; sister Bernadette Kinsfather of Longview; and six grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father Ben in 1995. Graveside services were held Saturday. Penttila's Chapel by the Sea was in charge.
