The Wahkiakum County Eagle-Published Thursday, November 5, 2009 John J. Luthi John J. Luthi, 68, of Skamokawa died October 30, 2009. He was born January 2, 1941 in Arlington to John J. and Isabelle G. (Fry) Luthi where he attended Arlington High School, graduating in 1959. He married Linda Lawver in 1964; the couple had four children and divorced in 1983. On January 1, 1984, he married Arlene Harder. He was a mechanic who enjoyed attending car shows, and was a member of the Solid Rock Cruisers and the On The Road Again car clubs. He is survived by his wife Arlene of Skamokawa; sister Eunice Glandon of Entiat; sons Randy Luthi of Dalton Gardens, Idaho, Criss Luthi of Skamokawa and Gale Luthi of Kingston, Mass.; daughter Holly Stahlberg of Kalispell, Mont.; three stepdaughters Tracy Williams of St. Helens, Ore., Rebecca Castillo of Cathlamet, and Kelly Thomas of Soap Lake; seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his mother and father. A memorial service will be held Saturday, November 7, 2009 at 4 p.m. at the Skamokawa Grange with Pastor Ryan Frank of the Heritage Bible Church officiating.
