Wahkiakum Eagle-March 1956 Cathlamet, Wahkiakum County, Washington Jacob Lott, 82, Dies At Nursing Home, Cathlamet Jacob O. Lott, 82 years, passed away Wednesday, March 14, at Columbia View Nursing Home. Mr. Lott was born September 17, 1873, in Black River Falls, Wisconsin. He had lived in Skamokawa for many years before making his home with his daughter, Mrs. Harry Johnson, Elochoman Valley. He had been a resident of the Columbia View Nursing Home for about two years. Mr. Lott spent his active years as a fisherman, a logger and a farmer. He had been a member of the Skamokawa Tribe of the red Men lodge for many years. Survivors are: a daughter, Mrs. Helen Johnson, Cathlamet; one son, John H. Lott, Coos Bay, Oregon; two sisters, Mrs. Mabell Hansen, Skamokawa; and Mrs. Daisy Sloper, Portland, Oregon; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 1:30 in the Dowling Chapel, Cathlamet, Rev. Fred W. Field will officiate. Interment in Fern Hill cemetery, Skamokawa, under direction of the Dowling Funeral Home.
