Emil Longtain Dies At Forest Grove

  Emil Longtain, who was born in Cathlamet June 5, 1900, died Monday, 
Dec. 10, at Forest Grove, Oregon, at the age of 45 years, six months 
and five days.  He was a logger and had resided in Forest Grove for the 
past year.
  He is survived by his widow, Evelyn, two sons, Pat and Burrell, four 
daughters, Nova, Naomi Jane, Sharon and Kaye, all of Forest Grove, his 
mother, Mrs. Adele Longtain, two sisters, Mrs. Julian Souvenir and Mrs. 
Ellen Gill, all of Cathlamet; two brothers, Louie Longtain of Astoria, 
Oregon and Henry Longtain of Cathlamet.
  Funeral services will be held today, Thursday, Dec. 13, in the chapel 
of the Forest Grove Undertaking company, at Forest Grove, Oregon, with 
interment at the Forest View cemetery of that city.
