Lower Columbia Eagle-August 18, 1960- Page 8 FARM ACCIDENT CLAIMS LIFE OF AUGUST KULLAMA Age 74, of Longview, died in an accident August 13, 1960 on Puget Island. He was born in Estonia, November 1, 1885, and was a former resident of Cathlamet where he lived for 26 years. After retiring from his work as a woodsman he lived at 2637 30th in Longview. He was a member of the Longview Methodist Church. Survivors include the widow, Anna; a son, Paul of Renton, Wash; three daughters, Mrs. Elmer Ostling of Puget Island, Mrs. John Ostrich of Astoria, Ore. And Mrs. Elvin Jacobson of Longview; two brothers, Carls Simson of Astoria, Ore. and Arnold Simson of Pontiac, Michigan; and eight grandchildren. Funeral services were held Wednesday at the Steele Chapel in Longview. Interment was at Longview Memorial Park, with Rev. Knight from Clarkston, Wash., officiating.
