Unknown newspaper Okie M. Johnson Age 66, of Naselle, died in an Ilwaco hospital. He was born in Canada and had lived most of his life in the Naselle area. He was the owner and operator of Okie's Merc in Naselle for many years before his retirement in 1967. He was a member of the Long Beach Elks Lodge. Survivors include his widow, Olive, at home; three daughters, Mrs. Ted Heriot and Mrs. Melvin Schisler, both of Naselle, and Mrs. Mickey Mercer of El Paso, Texas; one son, Dan of Naselle; four brothers, Herbert of Portland, William of Vancouver, Lauri of Cascade Locks, Ore., and Dan of Hillsboro, Ore.; four sisters, Mrs. William O'Connor of Naselle, Mrs. Clarence Harrison of Hillsboro, Ore., Mrs. Vivian Timmonen of Phoenix, Ariz., and Mrs. Ila Hill of Los Altos, Calif., and five grandchildren. Funeral services were held Wednesday at the Naselle Community Congregational Church with Rev. John Haverinen officiating. Penttila's Chapel by the Sea was in charge.
