Newspaper in Pacific County, Washington Felix John Johnson Funeral services were conducted Tuesday for Felix John Johnson, 67, who died August 26, while fishing on the Columbia River. The Rev. John Haverinen officiated in the Naselle Community Congregational church, and cremation followed in Aberdeen. Penttila's Chapel by the Sea was in charge of arrangements. Pall bearers were sons and brothers of the deceased, Ronnie, Russell, Dan, Herbert, William and Laurie Johnson. Mr. Johnson was born in Finland, and came to this country as a youngster. He received his schooling in Naselle and Portland, and was married to Ellen Kangas in 1925 at Kelso. They lived in Naselle where he operated an auto repair garage, and then moved to Lyons, Ore., where he was a millwright for many years. They moved to Longview, and he worked in the same capacity for three years, retiring 8 months ago, and returning to Naselle. Survivors include his widow, Ellen, Naselle; two sons, Ronnie, Stayton, Ore.; Russell, Vancouver; five brothers, Okie, Naselle; Herbert, Everett; William, Vancouver; Laurie, Clatskanie, and Dan, Hillsboro; Mrs. Hugo Timonen, Tempe, Arizona; Mrs. Ila Hill, San Francisco, and two grandchildren.
