Published in The Daily News on 7/15/2007. Frank L. Jacobson 1925 - 2007 Frank L. Jacobson 1925-2007 Frank Leslie Jacobson of Rainier died at his residence June 17, 2007, at the age of 81. He was born Oct. 19, 1925, in Cathlamet to Frank and Margaret Jacobson. Mr. Jacobson received his education at Wahkiakum High School. He served in the Navy and was a veteran of World War II. He and Mary Louise Kauttu were married in Seaview, Wash. They celebrated 55 years of marriage. She preceded him in death Oct. 15, 2001. Mr. Jacobson was a lineman for Pacific Power & Light for 25 years and a lineman/foreman for Portland General Electric for 15 years, retiring in 1988. He was a member of Rainier Masonic Lodge AF&AM and enjoyed gillnetting, fishing, hunting and clam digging. He is survived by a son, Dan Jacobson of Rainier; two daughters and sons-in-law, Leslie and Wayne Lepin of Rainier and Deborah and Robert Jump of Longview; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and a sister, Norma Jean Smith of Fremont, Calif. Haakinson-Groulx Mortuary of Rainier is in charge of the cremation arrangements. A celebration of life will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. July 21 at the residence of Dan Jacobson, 233 West "C" St. in Rainier.
