Longview “Daily News”-Friday, May 24, 2002 Jennie “Dolly” B. Hoover Jennie “Dolly” B. Hoover, 69, of Grays River, died May 21, 2002, at St. John’s Medical Center. She was born October 1, 1932, in Longview and grew up in Kelso. She lived in Woodland and Vancouver for many years prior to settling in Grays River. Mrs. Hoover worked for Tektronics and Tri-Quest, both in the Vancouver area. She later worked at Fleetwood Enterprises, Inc., and the Oak Tree Restaurant, both in Woodland, and Jennies Hut and the Boondox in Longview. She was a member of the Naselle Lutheran Church and hosted quilting club in her Grays River home. She loved quilting, charitable causes, ceramics, cooking and raising flowers. Survivors include a son, Richard Kandoll of Weiser, Idaho; two daughters, Tammera McGill of Vancouver and Victoria Kandoll of Ilwaco, and two grandsons. A service will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association, PMB 202, 8205 E. Martin Way East, Olympia, WA 98516. Arrangements are by Dahl-McVicker Funeral Home. Jennie “Dolly” B.
