Wahkiakum Eagle-May 1984 HENDRICKSON, Harlan Eugene Age 57, a lifelong Puget Island-Cathlamet area resident, died at his home in Cathlamet. He was born on Puget Island. He attended grade school on Puget Island and graduated from Wahkiakum High School. He served with the Army in France during WWII and was employed as a driver for Zellerbach Paper Co. of Portland for 28 years. His memberships included Teamsters Local 162 of Portland and Sons of Norway Helgeland Lodge 30 of Puget Island. He is survived at home by his wife, Florence Tover Hendrickson. Also surviving are two daughters, Kathryn Yellesetty of Juneau, Alaska, and Shari Wood of Silverdale, Wash.; five sons, Donald, Brad, Mike and Ted, all of Seattle, and Scott Hall of Naselle; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Hendrickson of Cathlamet; a sister, Elaine Goldman of Costa Mesa, Calif.; and a granddaughter. Memorial services were held Monday at Puget Island First Free Church, with Rev. Everett L. Groves officiating. Private inurnment was at the cemetery.
