GROSS, Grant Edward

  Age 82, died in his home in Cathlamet Friday.  He had resided in 
Cathlamet since 1946 and previous to retirement, operated a grocery 
store.
  Survivors include his widow, Ada of Cathlamet; one son, Heston H. of 
Cathlamet; two daughters, Lucille Scovill of San Jose, Calif., and 
Renee Davis of Gold Hill, Ore.; five grandchildren, and four great-
grandchildren.
  Services were held Monday at Dowling Funeral Chapel in Cathlamet with 
Rev. Bernard Herrick officiating.
  Dowling Funeral Home was in charge.
