Wahkiakum Co. Eagle-January 24, 1974 GROSS, Ada A. Age 82, of Medford, Ore., died Monday in a Cathlamet nursing home. She was born in Oakland, Ore. She was a resident of Cathlamet from 1946 until 1968. During that time her husband, who preceded in death, owned and operated the Gross Cash Grocery with their son, Heston. Since 1968 she lived with a daughter in Medford. Survivors include one son, Heston of Cathlamet; two daughters, Lucille Scovill of Eugene, Renee Gusman of Medford; two brothers, Ward Cockeram of Oakland, and Harvey of Corvallis, Ore.; two sisters, Annie Clay of Portland, Veta Peppin of Coos Bay, Ore.; six grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held Thursday in the Dowling Funeral Chapel with Rev. Eugene Ross officiating. Dowling Funeral Home was in charge. Ada A.
