Wahkiakum County Eagle-February 1973 Fred Jacob Gollersrud Age 69, of Skamokawa, died at home. He was born in Minnesota, and had been a resident of Skamokawa since 1942. He had been in business in Seattle and Longview and was a logger and farmer in this area. He was a member of the United Methodist church. Survivors include his widow, Roma; one son, David B. of Salem, Ore.; one daughter, Nina Lee Christopherson of Seattle; four brothers, Elgin and Herman, both of Grays River, and Leslie and Bert, both of Seaside, Ore.; three sisters, Stella Vaughn of Skamokawa, Anna Adamson of California and Julia Carlson of Seaside; two grandchildren, Danny and Karey Christopherson of Seattle. Funeral services were held Saturday at the United Methodist church in Skamokawa, with Rev. Everett Groves officiating. Dowling Funeral Home was in charge.
