The Daily News-Longview, Wa.-March 1984 GISSELBERG, Anna Christine Age 89, longtime Cathlamet resident, died in a Cathlamet nursing home. She was born in Long Beach and moved to Puget Island with her husband, Walter, 52 years ago. He died in 1973. She was a past member of the Ladies WWI Club, the Veterans of Foreign War Auxiliary and the Senior Citizen organization. Survivors include three sons, William Gisselberg of Portland, Robert Gisselberg of Longview and Donald Gisselberg of Shelton; two daughters, Helen Shaylor of Central Point, Ore., and Shirley Larsen of Cathlamet; a brother, Ed Bostrom of Long Beach; three sisters, Marie Bennett of Salem, June Finley of Longview and Nona Thrower of Portland; 17 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Services were Monday at the Dowling Funeral Home in Cathlamet with Rev. Lester L. Soberg officiating.
