OBITUARIES

Rae Fritzie

Rae Camilla Fritzie, Puget Island, died December 12, 2001 in a 
Cathlamet nursing home.  She was 88 years old, born on Puget Island, 
the daughter of Lars O. and Mathilda K. (Johansen) Pedersen. 

Mrs. Fritzie was a life long resident of this area.  She attended 
school on Puget Island and at the private Adventist school.  On October 
19, 1931 she was married to Nogi Gustaf Fritzie in Los Angeles.  She 
was a member of the Last Tuesday club of Puget Island, enjoyed 
gardening, canning, cooking and caring for her family.  She was well 
read and had a real love of life and was an interesting story teller.

Survivors include her husband at home; two sons Johnny of Longview and 
Robert of Puget Island; a sister Pearl Wright of Gresham, Ore.; two 
grand-children; four great-grandchildren and several nieces and 
nephews.

Private funeral services will be held.  Dowling Funeral Home is in 
charge of arrangements.
